You know this is all opinion, but Cell got much less interesting for me as a kid the more "perfect" he became. He was still a cool villain, but I always liked the fact that when he started he was just a pure monster out of a nightmare with a dark and sinister voice to match (I mean the Funi one of course not the Ocean one). The second form looks kind of laughable and the perfect one just looks too calm and too human.

@balrog13571 The whole concept of imperfect cell was also more intimidating. He crawled around the streets, undetectable, impaling people with his tail and siphoning their blood, muscle tissue, and even bone. Literally, nothing is left. The other two or more or less, a monster that wants to fight.

There's something about all his theme songs in this form that evoke strong creepy feelings of disturbance. (The music of the piano that begins playing at 0:07 really sounds like a good theme for the thought 'WTF IS THAT THING??!?!')

Whenever I hear this.. I can't get that image of him chasing two people through an airport at an almostly toying steady rate.

Their bodies were made to be tougher then theirs, they have a very powerful energy generator inside them, their power levels can't be sensed, and to summarize it, they were built to defeat the Z Fighters.

Cell on the other hand, was made out of cells from all the other fighters. Thus, he had all of their advantages and few of their disadvantages. Combined with his ability to absorb people and take their energy, he easily surpassed the other's powers.
