  • I am teaching my horse to do somthing like this but i use a circular rope to neck rein.

  • My gosh she is incredible. You have to have a really special bond with your horse to do what she does. I was lucky enough to meet her and get her autograph on Roxy's breyer model at the BreyerFest in 2009. I want to be able to do what she does so effortlessly. ♥

  • brilliant

  • My hero! I would love to be able to do this with my horse..

  • Hopefely if i het the new horse and foal i will be teaching her nateral horsemanship cant do thing like that with my horse she has come along way since i first got her buts shes stil an x-rachorse

  • This is why I love reining...

  • My frieisan stallion can do this and he is 8 years old my trainer started training him wen he was 3 and he has come so far

  • i met you and your awsome i love you :)

  • Omg! That Was Amazing! Way to go Stacy Westfall!

  • My aunt in Fla. emailed this to me. What a wonderful way to start the day watching this...so beautiful to see the loving connection...and my tears welled up. It truly seemed like a spiritual connection. I always wanted to ride a horse as a kid, but my parents wouldn't let me. They are so beautiful and majestic. I still live in SF and would love to, but at 59, I just don't know. Stacy...thank you for any outstanding performance and teaching me the special connection humans can have with nature..

  • @Irondo11 SF as in San Fransisco??

  • @Irondo11 go for it! :) you only live once! horses don't worry about age, they just worry that you care and treat them as they deserve to be treated. it's the best feeling in the world. ♥

  • What´s the video called were she talks while you can watch this video at the same time? Anyone know? :)

  • @ourweekday Commentary.

  • This is nothing short of AWESOME! I love watching Stacy and I cry every time I play this.

  • Good Job guys this is awsome. Congrats Guys

  • my horse cant even do that as good as roxy whit tack , heheheh

  • This video brings tears to my eyes every time!! Love it <3

  • respect

  • Love this....and I cry everytime too LOL

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • Stacy Westfall is my idol, I only hope that I will someday be able to do what she can do. She has a very special place in my heart. She has a real connection to her horse and she understands roxy and roxy understands her. thats a bond you will never brake

  • When stacy speaks to roxy, roxy says ''You got it Stacy Love You''

  • Stacy and roxy = Legends

  • INCREADABLE! I cry every single time. There I would do anything I could to see my father again.

  • geese why do i have to cry every time? gahhh..love it lol

  • oh yes i cried!!!! i love this lady and her horse they are one

  • that was incredible :)))

  • What's the song?

  • @sassykellie123 Tim MacGraw - live like you were dying

  • I got chills twice.... ty

  • 4 people forgot to live like they were dying.

  • Ive learned how to do this with my horse. Its all about leg pressure. So far its going really well. Thankyou Stacy for giving me the courage to try this!!!!!

  • i love it

  • That was the most beautiful video I have ever seen!

  • Now that is what a bond between a human and a horse should look like. Good job!

  • I love it and i'm going to cry:(

  • She's Amazing!!!!

  • How does she do this!!!????

  • This, this right here, is real horsemanship. This right here is real riding, being one with the horse. If you can do this, you can do absolutly everything...

  • I really cant stop crying after watching this movie ...

  • starfirenite- great video

yes- every horse can do this- riding with no tack. You just have to learn the horse only. (to respond to such aids)

  • Amazing....yep tear ducts still working for me too!

  • i am going to say the same as: Vexxtr0n

  • è fantastica...

  • WOW that takes a LOT of trust and great horsemanship! i wish i had that bond with my horse!!!

  • This has inspired me so much that im starting to train me 22 year old appaloosa to do this...not doing very well hes very stubborn

  • My life goal is to be exactly like Stacy Westfall. If only I could be that gifted.

  • my favorite part is when the horse runs after her at the end.i get those welled up tears all the time.

  • What a connection she has with her horse! Beautiful all black!

  • this is my dream i cry so much when i watch this.......i work so hard with my horse to do this stuff ......

  • this is the single reason why i ride.

  • i love this video! i think it inspirers all of us horse lovers to wanna be like that :)

  • I am crying as I watch & listen to Tim McGraw sings that song about his Dad "TUG" MCGraw ...........

  • That was beautiful!! brought tears to my eyes!!

  • my aqha gelding , blizzard (tally's baby doll) is related to roxy(whizards baby doll) !!! :D

  • AT THE END WHEN THE HORSE RUNS AFTER HER I TEAR UP.HE KNOWS HER. I GET MISTY EYED.

  • My dream! I am trying t olearn/teach my horse and I to do this! I love it! :))

  • holy. shit. I am not disagreeing with any of you I'm asking a question. Of course she probably puts hard work into this but I don't see to what point, it takes extreme skills yes, it takes hard work yes, I don't see beauty in this, training and breaking your horse to bow, get on its knees, spin around in circles 1:40, that isn't what horses are supposed to be. and yes I know how to ride, I ride everyday, and I don't train her, I "let her buck," horses are supposed to run, and be free with it

  • @paintBALLhero510 You are not riding your horse if she is bucking you off, and you obviously are not very good at riding. This is a beautiful example of a person and an animal in harmony. This horse is not fearful, or being physically dominated in any way. This is animal and human in sync... Beautiful!

  • @paintBALLhero510 so horses aren't "supposed to be" so connected and in sync with their rider that they can be ridden like this?? they aren't "supposed to be" a trusted friend and partner?? what are they "supposed to be?" i'm envious of her connection with roxy...i'd love it if i could connect with my horse on that deep of a level.

  • Every time I watch this video I cry. I cry of joy and sadness. I think about the bad life of all the horses around here and I see that it could be different..

  • Every time I watch this video I cry. I think about the bad life of all the horses around here.

  • She's amazing!

  • i rode a horse egxactly like this (with tack of course) her name was jazz, black quarter horse mare

  • I love this video, the ride must have been really meaningful for Stacy.

And I can appreciate what hard work this must have taken. When I tried doing this with my horse, it was unbelievably difficult at first and we still don't come within a thousandth as good as her. Amazing.

  • i love your work stacy!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are the best!!!!! i wish to be like you someday! i do reining for kids!!!

  • So cool wish i could do that rate me

  • I can't believe there are people out there like paintBALLhero510. What a jealous insecure person you would be. Stacey's skills, determination & dedication are to be conggratulated. I wonder if you can even ride a horse, let alone train one to this level. And who cares who owns the horse - lots of professional riders ride other people's horses - it's their job. Well done Stacey, you should be proud of what you do and your achievements, i am sure your dad is watching you with tears of joy.

  • @PokeyRider1 I didn't say that it was east or that I could do it. It probably takes a lot of time to learn to do that but why? why would she put hours into this? oh and BTW both my parents died four months ago

  • every time i watch this i wanna cry!

  • this sent shivers up my spine

  • thats absolutely amazing!

  • the amount of trust between her and horse, and the amount of work they had to put into that, simply amazes me. it's a beautiful thing, and i hope one day, i can achieve that sort of relationship with my own horse. reining is a wonderful sport.

  • my heart pounds a little faster when i watch this.

I can only dream of ever riding that great and having a connection that strong with a horse of my own.

The song goes so perfectly with it also.

  • wow running around in circles making your horse spin around in pointless circles.... looks productive for thousands of fans

  • @paintBALLhero510

do you know how much skill it takes?

ESPECIALLY without a bridle or any tack?

i'd LOVE to see you TRY to ride a horse the way stacy westfall can.

Don't insult something that you, yourself, cannot do.

  • @paintBALLhero510 yup really pointless. Wanna give it a go?

  • @paintBALLhero510 like a old saying goes

"One who speaks must back it up"

so back up that this is pointless

come on, just prove it. -_- i want you to try and see how easy it is...

  • @xXkeyotaXx like the the new saying goes "arguing over the internet is like running in the special olympics, even if you win, your still a retard."

  • @paintBALLhero510 dude, you were asking for like 5 people telling you off lmao, who's a retard now?

  • @paintBALLhero510 *you're still a retard. I see you're still a retard.

  • This is beautiful. Look at the calm and quiet expression on Roxy's face! She barely even pins her ears when she runs, absolutely amazing. I'm 17 and I watch this almost everyday and it never gets old. It just makes you feel good.

  • @owenj0 Isn't it Wizard's Baby Doll ?

  • ok I cried ~

  • thats amazing!

  • She is just so inspiring!! i wish i could do that with my horse!

  • boah die frau ist sooo geil...für welche die nicht reiten sieht des voll einfach aus aber wenn man grade anfängt ohne sattel zu reiten und des sieht ist man voll am verzweifeln:?aber echt geiles video

  • I have never seen such a stronger bond between a girl and her horse, the amount of time and effort put into that relationship... would be unexplainable. The beauty of natural horsemanship, which was demonstrated in this is just a plain ballet of its own. Favorite and 5 stars coming your way, Stacy and Roxy!

  • I'm getting chills here. Isn't this what we all wanna do: fly away on the back of horse, with nothing between his heart and your but your own bodies?

  • Thank you Lorraine for sending this to me. Bette Anne, Jessica, Cassidy and Cliff....I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Brought tears to my eyes. We all know what a little love can evoke from our four-legged friends.

  • This women is the most amazing rider i've ever seen in my whole life! She is amazing!

  • i was thinking of eventing But...

    well wot do you think!!!!

  • This girl is amazing i prefer to ride bareback but in my shows i can't do that but she is truly amazing.. especially after her dad just passed away.

  • We were lucky enough to have her as a guest instructor a couple weeks ago. I learned a lot of useful things from her and as always, this ride is amazing. ^^

  • If you are a woman that likes horses, and what woman doesn't, you Will love this video I made which includes Stacy's Championship ride and much more and turned it into an inspirational video. I dedicate it to Stacy and ALL women for their strength in over coming great hardships, heart aches & challenges & "Git'n-R-Dun!".

  • omg i wish I could do that

    I ride my best bareback

  • this women is what i strive to be like!! she is my idol!!

  • chapueau... my hat is off

  • Its because of trainers like Stacy and her talent for what she does that makes people like me keeps wanting to reach for the stars with our horses!!! Hats Off!

  • I'm an english rider, but I have some serious respect for this woman. If i could ride bareback half as good as this or if my horse was half as well trained, i'd be set!

  • My dad passed away last month, and everytime I see this video I cry because I am also a rider, and everything I learned, I learned from my dad.

  • I saw her live at Westworld in Scottsdale AZ once, ever since I have been trying to teach my QH mare to rein, no such luck. She is truly amazing and she is my role model, the one I look up to in the 'horse world'

  • She's honestly the most talented rider I've ever seen.

    She's incredible.

  • ''Can your horse do this!?''

Yess. My horse can do this.

    Any horse can do this.

    Any horse can do anything!

    It's just the human...

The next time you blaim a horse for anything other than curiosity,

    Don't!

  • thats not exactly true, not any horse can rein, at least not well. they have to be built for it even if they arent bred for it.

  • i luve riding bareback... i only rode bareback a couple of times tho... the last time was wen i was 7... i havent riden bareback since but its amazing to feel that connected to the horse =]

  • wow, this simply amazing. this brought tears to my eyes. it was so beautiful and touching and sincere. great job stacy,

  • @savvygurl03 THE HORSE HAS A BRIDLE IF YO LOOK

  • @kayelover1 There must be something wrong with your eyes if you think you see a bridle on that horse. At the end of the video you can see she puts it back on after her ride.

  • that is AMAZING horsemanship!! i was there and i was crying!! it was just so touching to me that you can do this with a horse! GREAT JOB STACY!! =]
