Why do so many tech nerds click and jump around uncontrollably while trying to teach? I was lost after the first 10 seconds. It's a shame because this guy clearly knows what he's doing but a teacher? Not sure about that!
hello guys, just wondering, I did this several times, but I dunno what happen, all of a sudden all my lines got really crispy, not sharp at all, it happens after creating the path and then the selection is very sensitive to the edges and it does not smooth the edges anymore, any suggestions????
If someone could help me on a couple of things, I would be eternally grateful.
1.) Which brush is being used to outline the picture? I don't usually scan but draw my pictures directly into Photoshop with my tablet, would using this tool still work?
2.) After I select my lines and set my tolerance, my result are way crooked gray outlines that look nothing like what he gets in the video.
this helps me a lot man..im from the philippines and ive been looking on for this guide..ur guides helps me a lot in my hubby....thanks a lot dude!!!!!!!
I dunno how this dude forgot the most important part. After you make your path and do ctrl + click in the path window to select it (then inverse the selection), you fill your path (Edit > Fill).
The guy probably hits the shortcut without even thinking about it. I still gotta say thanks for the technique, it works incredibly well
When I try to do this, the path only make white lines instead of a thick black line. I've tried to fill the white lines but it looks like shit, and now I've tried this for like more than an hour. I want an answer how the hell you do that, beacuse I do the exact same thing as you do but it doesn't work.
Thanks- Now I can vector w/out that stupid pen!! wHEN I STARTED I HAD TO PRACTICE VECTORIZING BY RE-DOING THE CINGULAR LOGO 50 TIMES... THAT WAS SICK!!! THANKS JIMMIE YO
Actually this is like a waste of time compared to what I do, but it's helpful. The fast way I dicovered is the stamp filter. You don't even need a tablet to do this. You set your template to black and white and just use the stamp filter to get rid of dust and sketchy pixels. It makes things alot cleaner and thicker in no time at all. I'm not keeping it secret anymore lol.
Hey man, I just checked this out because you linked it to me from Emptees and somehow even though I've used Photoshop for over seven years you taught me something I never would have done, thanks so much.
THANK YOU MR. ROBOTO!
