What a beautiful song... It makes me wish I could hop back to 1960...even with all the world's troubles back then, it was musically and culturally a more innocent, beautiful time in my opinion. it was the summer of 59,we was parked in her driveway saying goodnight,I was ready to leave for the army in acouple days ,that song was playing I ask her to wait for me,she said thats my answer,,she didn't wait, it really hurt 50years later I still think about her

never got a return letter and that was that. Strange how the one you lost is the one you can't get out of your mind, even though I married a great girl and after 45 years God took her from me also. So lonely...
