apparently my parrents stayed in the Mirage right after they built the volcano and saw its 1st performance

pretty impressive from street level! We saw it from above and the effects were quite different to us.

@dmoquinn its the effects yr supposed to be wowed by... fire n water shouldnt work but WET make it happen as they do with all their fantastic installations... they pushed the boundaries of hydrotechnolgy...

I stayed at Harrah's and we had a view of the volcano...it freaked me out the first night because I didn't know what the sound was...

@ericsan4344 no..its just that it happens each half hour....thats on the street near the cars......its normal to see that all night....is not an official show...just a publicity advisment for the mirage

I stayed a the Mirage this past June! It's a beautiful hotel! I loved watching the Volcano eruption! It's much better in person! I highly recommend the Mirage! It's in a great location on the strip!
