Thinking about it, it makes complete sense why Saban used the NinjaZords first then ShogunZords. The ShogunZords are obviously more powerful than the NinjaZords (as well as their megazords). It would be wise to debut the stronger set second, than right away. If the ShogunZords came first, it would be a huge step down in power to debut the NinjaZords second.

Btw, Rito and Boba Fett have one similiarity. They both carry "hybrid pack" without any visible shoulder strap (2:14). Nice costume for that era.

Rito managed to stand up quickly and tried to attack with fire but there was few harmless sparks in the nozzle. He just realized that the punch caused the crack and the fuel leaked away. When realizing that he had no battle ready weapon available, Rito tried to escape by igniting the jetpack but only sparks in the thruster. The zord still finished the battle in the same way.

Another alternate battle is : the noozle (2:16) should had additional close range weapon like a spiky mace or an axe so that Rito could fight both ranged attack or close combat. The fight was choreographed until a point where while the zord evading the attack, it also got an access to punch the tank on Rito’s back. The zord then punched the tank just right in the joint of dual tank (2:14) with the right hand punch that cracked the tank and sent Rito flying forward. Cont....

Just to make a little bit more realistic.

When Rito’s noozle was destroyed (3:14) the fuel from his tank should be leaking through the severed hose. There should be a dramatic 30-millions-coal-BTU-explosion when Rito ignited his jetpack. Instead of flying Rito, should had thrown away with damaged smoking tank. (This can be another prove that he is idiotic, blowing himself accidentally). The zord still finished the battle in the same way.

More trivia for you. All the "Ninja zords"? They're from Kakuranger, a ninja theme sentai series in Japan. The Ninja Megazord? The secondary mecha of the Kakuranger: Kakure DaiShogun. The Falcon zord? A sentient mecha called Tsubasamaru. Falcons were viable forms of communication and companionship as a ninja.

A lot of people don't know this but in the original Kakuranger, the "ninja zords" actually appeared after the "Shogun Zords" and were actually considered to be stronger.

Both true and false, in the show (aside from the Shogun Ultrazord, for reasons below) no pink Shogunzord was used as there was no pink ranger in Kakuranger, where the zords are from.

The exception to this? The idiot's in the marketing department at the time thought "People recognise the pink ranger, we'll turn the white zord pink" And then they used the toy for the Shogun Ultrazord.
