oh ok, but still i realy enjoyed playing the zombie slayer game you made, i have to say, best mod game ever made, and man it had a great story to, it was like an entire new game when i first played it, totaly original styled, it was liek an arcad game it was so awsome, i hoep when you make another mod it will be as awsome as your first :)

@MPandaSauce2 Zombie Slayer is a conversion of the Episode 2 script into a mod. I'm working on a game using UDK, so there probably won't be another Episode.

Interesting. Just how do you animate characters in DOOM 3? I'm curious to know as it may be something I'd like to use in one of my custom levels.

I use 3ds max and export everything out of it using der_ton's md5 exporter script. You can find out more info by searching doom3world dot org's website.

You can rename the .pk4 files to .zip files, and then you can look around in there for .md5mesh and .md5anim files. From there, you can import them, modify them, and export them with der_ton's md5 importer/exporter. I hope this helps. I would really recommend doom3world; that's how I learned about most of this stuff.

To clarify, I animate in 3ds max, and then I export the animations out to Doom 3. After that, I script it all in. This short took me around 4 months to do (mainly learning), but now I can work much faster. Check my other videos to see...
