I call for a Detroit/Toronto winter classic in the Big House next year. Those 2 teams will have no problem filling a 100 plus thousand stadium. BTW the Rangers and Philly both suck. FYI guys the Detroit Red Wings are the NHL. If your two teams traveled as much as the wings have done in the past 2 decades your teams would not even make the playoffs some years....Wait that's happened to your teams plenty of times....

personally i would love to see this in the up comming seasons, first Colorado V. Detroit in mile high stadium (denver), Rangers V. Islanders, yankee stadium, and then Buffalo V. Boston teams are bound to play in more than one winter classic because only a handfull of teams can, you cant really have a winter classic in the southern states thats why teams will play more than once, eventually you will run out of match ups for teams so you have to play teams more than once. Any one else agree?

I hate the ads as well, even watching the Flyers on local Philly TV there is a massive computer generated ad on the nets over the goals. Obnoxious. (I really hate the one space along the wall at some of the arenas lit up in LED lights.)

I'm tired of the NHL favoring the Eastern conference. This will be the 3rd straight Winter Classic featuring Eastern Conference teams, and the last 3 All Star games have been in Eastern conference cities. Give the Western conference some love dammit.

I would love to see future games in other colder cities/venues like Colorado, Minn. Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto. (Those colder Canadian cities, heck you possibly play it on a frozen lake..lol. @ThatGuyInPhilly DC has already had it. If you look back, you'll see most of the road teams have eventually gone on to host it. Pitt visited Buffalo, and hosted one last year. Philly visited Boston and is hosting this one. My guess is that in maybe 2 years, when New Yankee Stadium is available, they'll have the Rangers host it there against the Bruins. New York-Boston in Yankee Stadium. My guess is thats what they want when it comes to New York, which it will soon enough I'm sure.

@UchihaItachi1986 The Eastern Conference holds a majority of the big market teams (Philly, NY, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, etc.) The west has Chicago, Detroit and.....thats pretty much it. And the NHL does do the Heritage Classic for Canadian teams, which has included western conference teams for the most part.

This is just getting old now. It would be nice if the NHL didn't feature a Pennsylvania or Atlantic Division team for the fourth time in the 5 years they've been doing this. You can't tell me Minneapolis' Target Field or Denver's Coors Field or Mile High Stadium wouldn't be good venues. The idea of this was to display the game from it's origins. Now it's just a clear pandering to get ratings. and just isolate it for the Northeast.

If Bettman and the NHL want NYC's viewership so bad why not just have the Rangers and Devils play at the new Yankee Stadium. I'm just tired of seeing either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia play again. Why not have Buffalo and Chicago go at it again at Solider Field?
