I just saw this commercial for the first time today, Sept 11, 2011 and it is so beautiful that it brought me to tears. I did not know that it was not new. Beautifully and respectfully done. Bravo. :'-)
That one is new. It's not a re-airing, it was a recreation. If you watch again, you'll see that the one you saw included the new tower going up in the background.
On this, the tenth anniversary, they have redone this commercial. The horses ride the same path, and bow to Ground Zero, but in the background, you can see the new tower going up, and after it fades to black, the words "We will never forget" show up before the Budweiser logo.
wow! this is the first time that i've seen it since it aired. just like that day my heart at the time heavy with sorrow and confusion. after seeing this it was filled with such warmth. The tears still come as i will forever mourn my ppl and my city. Thank you for this, you are one of the beautiful ppl!
This is one of my most favorite commercials EVER! I have written to Budweiser for a copy or a picture of the Clydesdales bowing in front of what was the WTC and they said it was only shown once and will never be played again and I couldn't get a copy...well, thanks to you, I now have one. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was an awesome commercial.
