Just stating the idea that no tang which is one of the most active species of fish should be in a nano cube its like keeping a border collie in a apartment its not practical. If you take an animal out of its natural habitat try to provide it with a tank as close as possible to its habitat. Huge difference than putting a clownfish in there vs a powder brown tang and FYI that's what the books are for their not telling you what to do based on their opinion their telling you based on research and ex

They are properly sized for my tank, I have an open aquascape to allow for plenty of swim room, and I research a fish as much as possible before I ever buy one. I dont just walk into the LFS and buy whatever I think looks cool that day. I havent offered opinions, but actual FACTS. Fact number 1 - those tangs WILL die in your tank. Fact number 2 - You ARE a dumbass.

@jetraymond I used about 40lbs of live sand and about 50lbs of live rock. The way to tell how many lbs you needs is usually by doubling the amount of gallons of the tank.

@dblballer I feed them flakes, pellets, and dry seaweed. I have never used any type of chemicals in my tank. All I do is water changes about every 3-6 months using RO water.

Wow, I did not realize how much people would react to my video. Thanks for watching it. Well my tank has been doing well and thriving at this time. As for the tangs that everyone is sooo concerned about, you will all be happy to know that they did out grow my tank. If you listened to the video you would have heard that they were small when they were in here. Once they have out grew my tank they are now in a much bigger tank.

Great tank. You really need to do more research on your fish selection. You have 3 tangs in this tank- this simply will not work long term. Do you realise that these fish can live to up to 10 years? Check out wet web media- a great resource. You'll learn that any tang species needs at least 75 gallons or so per fish. Sure you can keep 3 tangs in 28 gallons, but it's kind of like raising German Shepherds in a closet.

Looks great... awesome coral growth. There are a few reasons tangs should not be in there, and I've had some bad luck myself. They get stressed due to the small space, and their diets are very difficult to reproduce within such a small space.
