AMOS 3:7Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

ilove THOMAS S MONSON..the PROPHET OF GOD..

  • @phillipines.

    DID YOU THINK TO PRAY?

ask GOD in sencerly..i know your QUESTION is answer to GOD..

then read the BOOK OF MORMON..i know this is WORD OF GOD.

i luv phillipines THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS..

  • @phillipines.

ALMA32:21And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true..like HEAVENLY FATHER and his SON JESUS CHRIST..i did not seen but i believe his alive.because of my FAITH in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.i know he love us.

  • Thomas S Monson is a false prophet. He says of the temple "It is your temple now, and in a few minutes we're going to give it to the lord, and then he will come to his temple, and his spirit will come to you", but the Bible shows that because of Christ, God dwells within us, not in a temple! God dwells in the hearts of those that call on his name, not in a building of stone! I prayed that my Heavenly Father would reveal the truth of the LDS church to me, and he told me his Bible is all we need!

What do the trinitarians have to offer the world? Their trinitarian God created this world, provided billions of souls to occupy it, & sent a Redeemer to save those souls so they could return to Heaven. However, He made a limited effort to give those billions access to the key of redemption--the chance to know that Redeemer & ACCEPT or REJECT Him. Then He condemns those billions to hell because they did't accept the Redeemer the majority never even heard of.....cont....

  • @superwoody104

If their God is omnipotent, He could have made a way for ALL to participate. Because of this I REJECT their trinitarian Jesus. I refuse to accept a God who is so uncaring, unloving, & unjust that He ignores the prayers & pleadings of the vast majority of His human creations.

This will send me to their hell, but I do this of my own free will & choice. In their hell, I will be among the billions who were never given a free will & choice.....cont....

  • @superwoody104

While many in their hell are the evil & wicked of the world, many are innocent souls who tried to conduct their lives to the best of their knowledge & abilities. There are hundreds of millions who would have accepted the True Son of God had they been given the chance.

The trinitarian God created more souls to be condemned to hell than will ever be exalted to Heaven.

They have absolutely nothing to offer me. I see no reason to abandon my beliefs for theirs.....end

  • @GaryKColeman (cont.) If you reject Jesus, you reject the Father.

On the note of prayers, God does not reject any prayer, he says "show me your face, let me hear your voice" (Song of Songs 2:14). He wants us to talk to him! In the light (or darkness!) of religion I'm not surprised people reject the God who is portrayed. However, the God I know is a loving God, who restores, forgives, heals and loves, and he loves it when we call on his name!

    Ciao! Woody :D

What must a person do to be saved? Is baptism required for salvation? Will everyone be resurrected or will only the "saved" enjoy resurrection?

  • @GaryKColeman Jesus answered this first question with "Love the Lord your God with all your heart", and "Love your neighbour", essentially summarising the 10 commandments, or the whole law of the Jewish Bible (Torah). However, we are saved through grace, and covered by the sin-less life of Jesus Christ, and therefore even though we can't keep to God's commandments, we will still be saved through trusting in Jesus' death for us. I think this answers the second question too; we are saved by...

  • @GaryKColeman (cont) grace, which is underserved favour. The greek word "baptizo" means "to pickle" or "immerse", it doesn't directly refer to being dunked in water, although many churches would assume it does. When Jesus says "make disciples...baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit..." I would say this means that the new believer is "immersed" in all things God, which will help them live out their Christian life. Baptism in water is a public declaration of a renewed life...

  • @GaryKColeman (cont) which is what John the Baptist preached! If we are saved by grace, then baptism is a suggested optional extra, not essential but personally endorsed by Jesus. Regarding resurrection of the dead, I think you'd have to read the New Testament, to see what Jesus says on the matter. Enjoy your weekend! :D

  • @superwoody104

When Jesus said "Love the Lord your God," He was talking to a Jewish lawyer. So, I'm thinking that He meant the Jewish God, Yahweh. If that is the case, then the Jews are saved through grace.

I have asked some, who have read the New Testament, about the resurrection. One says, "All will be resurrected," another says that only the "saved" will be resurrected & that will happen at the time of the rapture.

So, what is the real answer?

  • @GaryKColeman Hi Gary, apologies for the delay in replying. I actually just listened to a podcast from my church a few weeks ago on Luke 10, which includes Jesus' encounter with the Jewish lawyer. Yes, it is the Jewish God, Yahweh, for I don't know of another God who is alive and moving on the earth today. Jews, like me (a "Gentile") are saved by grace, and I'm glad we are, because I could never earn salvation by my own works!

  • @GaryKColeman (cont) Regarding resurrection, aka life after death, the answer is that because Jesus was resurrected, those who put their trust in him can also look forward to the same experience following our physical death. Regarding those who are not "saved", Revelation says everyone will be judged, which presumably will be a physical event with a physical body, therefore everyone should get a body for that. Sorry for being vague, I just trust that if God's in charge, it'll work out! :D

  • @superwoody104

Evangelicals say that ALL people must accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior to receive grace. I haven't heard of any Christians who say accepting Yahweh will lead to salvation.

  • 'keeve'.....

  • Converting members in the USA isn't working anymore, since we aren't all retarded, so they have moved overseas. Funny.

  • @windigo77 You are misinformed. Converting members in the US is actually more successful than in Ukraine. I know. I served a mission in Ukraine. That being said, this Temple is a huge blessing for Ukraine and for all people in eastern Europe. They have been praying for it and waiting for it to be built for years. I can't wait to see it myself! Go Shakhtyor!

  • @exzacklyright I believe the opposite is true. I can at least construct complete sentences. I think the general consensus would concur with me.
