@niltsirk men don't have cycles. women have reproductive cycles with specific stages. men don't. a woman's body can be "fooled" into thinking it is pregnant, therefore it stops producing eggs. there is nothing that can be done, at least thus far, to affect a man's ability to produce sperm, short of a vasectomy or other permanent sterilization. women's bodies can be manipulated in that way.

A "woman's choice" cannot be defended in only one aspect. If you are going to defend it, defend it all the way. Law says a woman must have at least one child before having her tubes tied. Availability I know people who've had abortions who really would not have if they had to break the law. The clinics also spit on bills requiring that they show women their baby on ultrasound and tell them that it's a person. The clinics prey on the woman's fears (according to former abortionists)? like childcare expenses and uncertainty of college and career. They sell abortions, and in a hurry.

Just because a fetus hasn't experienced life outside the womb doesn't make it any less of a person than me or you. . I'm sure that fetuses can think starting at some point in the pregnancy. Does a fetus magically go from not being able to think at 9 months into the pregnancy to 5 minutes later being able to think after being born? I don't think so. Besides, there are plenty of better options for unwanted children besides being killed, dismembered, and scrapped for parts like an automobile.

Romania 1966-89 the hugest epidemic of unloved, under nourished, mentally and physically challenged children. The hospitals and orphanages could not handle the problem, it was a disaster and it was the children who suffered the most!
The world does not need anymore unwanted kids! We need human rights for all people, and yes that includes women!

there is only one person qualified to protect the unborn (abortion being legal or illegal)and that is the woman carrying it. if she won't, then you can't. women can die giving birth so abortion or giving birth is an extremely personal decision.

You must have been born with a silver spoon in your ass. Until you endure REAL hardship don't preach that God is out there watching over everyone, because he's not. If a mother is mentally and financially unprepared for a child it usually ends up in abuse or neglect. Not to mention other circumstances that involve the child or the mother dying, and it being a freedom of choice she should have. Pro-Choise is the way to go. Wake up.

Scientifically the fetus is not considered human life until 3rd trimester I believe. So it's not murder. It should be the women's choice.
Plus due to stem cell research (which can't happen w/o abortion) we can cure most forms of blindness and can benefit all kinds of paralysis in many ways.
Maybe if you looked into the grey areas a little bit, you would see that abortion is better to stay illegal. But why would you do that? That's too fucking rational.

As a Christian it is our duty to let a persons know that abortion is wrong and not support any of it. Supporting it in anyway,(i.e their sin ,not mine) equates to a form of acceptance.I would not accept someones justification of any child being destroyed, in the womb or out.

yeah the womb is actually a natural abortion machine. Not every egg gets fertilized and on top off that, white blood cells kill sperm, and if the egg doesn't attach to the uterus in time the w.b.cells will kill that too; or the uterus will flush it out when it starts cleaning itself.

These women have plenty of chances of giving away the children to institutions that can take care of them. The point is that killing is wrong, and worse when it's done to human babies, no matter how small they still are.
Regarding the ovum, there's no human life there yet, and it's just the natural way that they are lost, no problem with that; once one of them is joined by the sperm, THERE'S NEW LIFE!!! Its not just potential anymore, there's a human being that begins to grow.

Would you ratter kill them? How do you know they won´t have a normal family life? There are institutions that handle adoptions and an adopted child has as much chance of living a normal life as any other, maybe more.
