its not noob friendly at all.. you need to know a lot about the game before you start playing to have any fun.. first thing you do when you start, fuck the quests and starter zones, join a clan, let em give u shit, then go grind on monsters and gathering/crafting (all boring) while you wait for some pvp
but the pvp is fucking awesome, at least large scale.. armies of players attacking a city or something, epic adrenalin rush. altho the smaller group battles or 1v1, very stupid and imbalanced
Ahhh Darkfall: If you get upset over getting a crappy game you just get camped on for the first few weeks of playing, you're a carebear! :D Crap game, unless you like getting camped over and over in the starting zones--I haven't gotten past that point.

This game is taking pages from the Grandfather of the MMORPG that games like AoC, WoW & Warhammer forgot about. They don't have the funding for the worlds best graphics, but to people who know what a real game is, this is it. I've been waiting for years. It is amazing. (And that Grandfather was Ultima Online, one of the first, and one of the greatest.)

This game doesnt look very appealing. WoW has such smooth graphics and a great storyline that this will never compete. Age Of Conan would have been great but the dev screwed it up terribly and Warhammer just got boring. I don't see any appeal in that ship battle (the cannons had no recoil, and the ship stayed in tact when a cannon ball hit it) and the environment looks so shabby. WoW has an immense user base (11.5mil) which is what makes an MMO an MMO.
The thing is.. Blizzard hires only the most talented guys in all areas.. From conceptartist to storyline artist to animators to modellers, everything is top notch. Also they have the best budget by far to make/update a game. And with all that they have like 20 years of knowledge in the bussiness.
So how can people even think that this half norwegian half greece company is gonna blow WoW into the water...Im sorry it wont, not even in 2 years. Unless Blizzard goes bankrupted

your all forgetting one thing ,.. Blizzard still have to release Diablo III . Basically, bucketloads of WoW profits went into creating Diablo III. It's gonna become a big MMORPG , when it gets released. WoW will probably just fade away, because it's lost its whole MMORPG 'freedom' , as far as gamings concerened, but the actual lore and idea of WoW itself will still attract the millions of players. Diablo III is going to get big, just watch and see ;)

This game reminds me of Ultima Online, with better graphics, comparing it with WoW or another game of the sort is foolish, as they are totally different types of games.
itll be kind of refreshing that there are no safe zones, otherwise you just get a tonne of reds or w/e just outside safe cities and villages so you cant get out, oh also the respawns are apparently in cities or towns, which have guards, which should stop spawnkilling
FYI, opining about WoW at this point in WoW's long life, is moot.
WoW's pvp was not outstanding, by any means, you are speaking as a fanboi. WoW is a deadhorse, they will have to release another expansion pack in order to 'steal' any more ideas. Move along son, play Farcry3 before you miss out on that buzz too.

Also, the reason why euros, pounds, yadi yadi. The reason why they are worth more then a dollar, is because the governments in europe use more gold to represent each bill. We use our own certain amount to represent each dollar and thus results in the printing of far more american dollars, then euros.

Dude, seriously WoW sucks ass, it's so boring. I used to watch my brother play it alot, he has like 5 lvl 70s...i played for like a month and hated it. It was the dumbest thing ever. It's so boring too, unlike aoc and darkfall where u can conquer other cities, and their all player ran. You can also attack people anytime anywhere, and there is no set classes on darkfall either. Lol you just go back to WoW because you have no life, well some people do have lives, so ill see you in WoW never.

This game is taking pages from the Grandfather of the MMORPG that games like AoC, WoW & Warhammer forgot about. They don't have the funding for the worlds best graphics, but to people who know what a real game is, this is it. I've been waiting for years. It is amazing. (And that Grandfather was Ultima Online, one of the first, and one of the greatest.)

This game doesnt look very appealing. WoW has such smooth graphics and a great storyline that this will never compete. Age Of Conan would have been great but the dev screwed it up terribly and Warhammer just got boring. I don't see any appeal in that ship battle (the cannons had no recoil, and the ship stayed in tact when a cannon ball hit it) and the environment looks so shabby. WoW has an immense user base (11.5mil) which is what makes an MMO an MMO.

WoW is no longer an mmo, to pvp you have to do this, and to pve you have to do this....theres no unique way to do anything.
and has very little to do with the storyline......Arthas wont save it....i wish somethin worthwhile would come out

Hmmm, the lore was very good in WoW till BC but this game looks very, very good.

The thing is.. Blizzard hires only the most talented guys in all areas.. From conceptartist to storyline artist to animators to modellers, everything is top notch. Also they have the best budget by far to make/update a game. And with all that they have like 20 years of knowledge in the bussiness.
So how can people even think that this half norwegian half greece company is gonna blow WoW into the water...Im sorry it wont, not even in 2 years. Unless Blizzard goes bankrupted

I think the major reason why nothing is gonna beat WoW is because the lack of history and inspiration.. Blizzard have shaped the World and history in WoW for like 15 years or something.
This game may have nice graphic and stuff but that doesnt mean shit when every environment is gonna feel like a previous one.

Well yes, but imo the Warcraft story isn't good at all, after wc2. It seems extremely "ad-hoc", so to speak.
The thing that WoW does good is balance and playability - the storyline and atmosphere are weak points in the game. In my opinion. I'm sure there are lots of people who disagree though...

your all forgetting one thing ,.. Blizzard still have to release Diablo III . Basically, bucketloads of WoW profits went into creating Diablo III. It's gonna become a big MMORPG , when it gets released. WoW will probably just fade away, because it's lost its whole MMORPG 'freedom' , as far as gamings concerened, but the actual lore and idea of WoW itself will still attract the millions of players. Diablo III is going to get big, just watch and see ;)

itll be kind of refreshing that there are no safe zones, otherwise you just get a tonne of reds or w/e just outside safe cities and villages so you cant get out, oh also the respawns are apparently in cities or towns, which have guards, which should stop spawnkilling

FYI, opining about WoW at this point in WoW's long life, is moot.
WoW's pvp was not outstanding, by any means, you are speaking as a fanboi. WoW is a deadhorse, they will have to release another expansion pack in order to 'steal' any more ideas. Move along son, play Farcry3 before you miss out on that buzz too.
