I feel Mario's body of work taken together speaks volumes about the use of line. It's as if he has been at the loom with a shuttle, shed-stick, raddle and reed. These days we are all on line, we are all looking down the line and for me line in painting or drawing is really very much like bars or rests between musical measures. Line gives a piece such beat, time or tempo, such flow. I really wish I could see the exhibit in person. Thanks for bringing this show to the web! 5 stars
