Every time I use one of my playlists now I get the Anti Virus Soft malware and have to quickly turn off my computer, turn it back on and start System Restore before it overrides control of it. Tried Microsoft Security Essentials, but it gets past that too so far, although it does alert me about it a few seconds before the take-over begins.

I have had many computers, never had a virus until I went Myspace. I had to run MalwareBytes in Safe Mode, then re-install my OS and run MalwarBytes again.

BTW, I got rid of Myspace account soon after, I'll never return to them. Had to jump from a sinking ship!

dude, the video is over 2 yrs old, im sure this problem has lessened. I've scanned my computer after myspace after going on and off it without my firewall on and no signs. You shouldn't be so over virus protective as long as you have good protection and your firewall enabled. Even then its not that likely to get a virus, so your Sister doesn't have to listen if she doesn't want to but thats none of my business

When you go to a page, it downloads a source code, which saves it in your Temporary Data folder, after that, the Virus/Infection will find its way out and infect its primary target with a series of directories so it will spread. The internet "is" a dangerous place, even when you are looking for something for school.

myspace active x controls usually contain viruses, and if u use myspace don't open active x controls and only set ur cookies to medium high no lower,if u wanna download something or watch youtube videos and don't want to log in then keep security medium high all else high,if u wanna log in than u need medium high, but some sites have dangerous popups gotta be careful

that window the first popup comes up ,close it ... you have to goto task manager and end task. It costs about 20 bucks, but helps your pc run smoother, faster, and safer, and most importantly it is user friendly. I have it and my pop-up blocker is on, so I never deal with ANY problems from myspace so long as I don't actually click it. I do get loggers occasionally because I use my myspace and click on random things due to my 'dell' touchpad. dude, avoid dell. without sysmech, I wouldn't have a computer

Same thing happened to me, but I did not catch on right away....It took over my computer...that and Win AntiSpyware, which isn't! It's a virus/trojan/hijacker. Turned my screen black on one side and kept telling me to click on it and finish purchasing it! I knew it was bad, but could not get rid of it, nor could Dell On Call, or Spy Bot, or SpySweeper. Only Combo Fix, but then I got a driver error.......finally had to reformat, but cost me $300 and one month of my time. Wanted to shoot them.
