You should have routed yourself through the Hill Country. There are vast parts of Texas that are beautiful. Also, if your fond of TexMex cuisine, you shouldn't find the drive desolate; take some culinary breaks.
Well, we've been to the grave and the crash site twice and have posted pictures on our website and have shared videos of both. I guess flowers and a pic pale now, don't they? Maybe you're the one who needs to show a little more respect.

I moved from Georgia to Lubbock in '97 & lived there 3 years.
The fact that Buddy Holly is from there is all that city has going for it!
