  • This is a wonderful performance

  • Prince Harry was probably whispering something about Andrew Corr's top at the end.

  • God Only Knows is one of the greatest songs ever written. I'm a huge Beatle fan but I have to admit this is as good as anything they wrote

  • @Guitarwizard55 Totally Agree. Even though The Beatles will always be the greatest group, I think this song is better than anything they ever wrote. The perfect pop song.

  • Simply the best.

  • I love it! Two of my favorites: Brian Wilson and the Corrs...Brian is and remains, one of the best - maybe the best - of the American musical innovators of the rock era.

  • What an awesome performance by Brian Wilson an The Corrs. The female lead has the voice of an angel that matches perfectly with the song. Thank you for sharing this video!

  • @xdevildoc69, I'm about a big of a Beach Boys fan as they come and I'm very protective of their music when people do covers, but I have to say this woman added a very nice touch to the song that I felt in my heart. That's something usually missing when people trying to cover Brian's songs... heart.

  • I feel so privileged to have lived during the Brian Wilson era. What a true legend!

  • i like jims voice, very soft :)

  • Brian Wilson is certainly a legend, but , bloody hell! how much pot, drink, meth and uppers can one take.....He looks out of it! He will pay for all that shit soon, good luck Mr. Wilson.

  • @kevlength he was mentally ill for a long time. it wasn't just recreational drugs that took their toll on him.

  • @kevlength He's still alive & kicking at age 69!! You and glassinheart are both right. He is a "Don't do Drugs!!!" walking campaign ad. Yes, he suffered from mental illness, child abuse & drug abuse, but he still is legendary!

  • @kevlength He has paid dearly for his drug use,

pot, a lot of coke & pills he was in a fog for years & he has survived & has pulled his life together. I hope he lives on for a long time, he is a treasure!

  • Prince Charles is probably saying to his 2 sons (or 1) in the posh Royal accent: "I certainly do think Harry...who's hung like my horse...to try and bang that Corr immediately"

  • Bloody hell the Royle Family look like they were dozing off.

  • No way! There is no way too match my happpiness right now!

  • Brian Wilson is, in my eyes, the best songwriter producer ever. He beats Lennon/McCartney by miles. His arrangements are awsome. When I listen to his songs I wonder how long it took the band to get all those incredible harmonies together? Beach Boys rock!

  • @sippedeedo ok Sipp Sipp....Lennon and McCartney by miles??? Brian Wilson is/was great...but he didn't beat Lennon/McCartney by... 'miles'...If you're a guy..I'd give ya a nodge...If you're a girl I'd give you a slap on the ass :)

  • @sippedeedo This I will never get: why is it necessary for you to criticize a great musician (or musicians) to rave about another? The world is big enough for The Beach Boys AND The Beatles... That's the beauty about music - you always have room in your heart for one more great song :)

  • brian looks like a stoned bus driver... and i'm glad he survived every single crash down...

  • Brian Wilson is a living legend who the rest of the popular music world owe so much to.

  • Brian Wilson makes live worth living....

  • Ha! Jeff Foskett got demoted to playing sleigh bells. Ha! Ha! Ha! Maybe he can burn a few calories doing THAT!

  • Been listeing to you since the days 409 was released and have enjoyed all of you music since the early 60's. Thanks so much for getting most of us thru that time but I would do it all over again if I could.

  • Poor Brian is/was completely ruined by drugs and the 60's. Sitting there like a vegetable. Not even playing. A gorgeous song though.

  • @toucheturtle300

watch his performance from 29 May 2010. in Scottsdale, Az., don't aske me why or how, but his voice really has recovere,d he hits notes he hadn#t hit for years, his voice really recovered, and for a second he really is the brian wilson again that recorded pet sounds, a magic little moment in that video, at 1.06

  • God, watching Brian sing this makes me Smile!

  • Beautiful song and Brian sang it wonderful. Just love his voice and his talent and am glad this song from the Pet Sounds album that Brian wrote is on here alot on YouTube. That album is the best he has ever written and has the most beautiful songs on it. I have it and am glad I have the CD and all the pictures and liner notes. God Bless ya Brian.

  • You Limey Twits.......Lennon/McCartney have said that Elvis was the biggest influence on their music and they were in competition with the Beach Boys for most of the 60s. And as much I admire Zep and the Stones and Cream, current rock and roll bows down to the genius and guitar virtuosity of Jimi Hendrix.

America....Land of the Free and the home of Rock n Roll !!!!!!

  • @fligemon Well... That's one way to look at it. o_O

  • they make me fucking sick a great song but dedecating to the queen (did'nt the yanks support the ira until they got their arse kicked in 9/11 then realised what terrorism does to normal people? soon changed their fucking tune then did'nt they and supported by some fucking irish group, give it time and they will singing praise to allah

  • @scits1

This is a music event not a political forum asshole.

  • god bless the queen the facist regime !!!

  • But I must say, I love Brian Wilson's songwriting and his band. One of my favorite songs of all time

  • @bluesboy25000

Well for instance Brian Wilson is American - so I guess the queen invited all kinds of nationalities. It's the music that counts!

  • @bluesboy25000 ah, ha, ha, ha, ha! some "americans" are are always confused by anything outside their trailer parks

but hey, thanks for totally hijacking the vid with your stupidity.

  • @enlishsherpa Excuse me, I was genuinely trying understand the society and trying to ask an honest genuine question. And FYI I do not live in a trailer park and am actually a middle east studies major. And I honestly find your comments about American Trailer trash just as offensive as I would find an American calling English a bunch of wimpy tarts.

  • @bluesboy25000 You've confused me with someone who might possibly give a shit about what an idiot, such as yourself, might be offended by.

Why not ask why so many 'foreigners' are asked to play at the White House? Where were your stupid questions when Paul McCartney performed there? Might I suggest that you forget about Middle East studies for the moment and go back to elementary school? It looks like you missed out on some elementary education. BTW I'm a US citizen mortified by morAns like you

  • @bluesboy25000 As an irishman i agree but as someone else said, its the music and a chance to play with Brian Wilson well he is a legend. As an American im sure you can understand that my friend.......?

  • @bluesboy25000 Hi - as an Irishman - well, my grandpa was from the old country - I am - shall we say - perplexed too. I also note that the Mason's appear to have supplied the stage in their customary chess board fashion. The queen's choice of Wilson does not augment my opinion of her but does, alas, to a degree diminish my opinion of the great , but now somewhat fucked-up, man.

  • @bluesboy25000 not all of us are anti-british,if thats what you mean

  • @bluesboy25000 Although Ireland did gain its independence from England, aren't they still part of what is considered Great Britain? I thought the Corrs were from Canada? Anyone?

  • @marmcmick The Coors are from Ireland. Canada is considered part of the British Commonwealth, a mainly ceremonial affilation of former British colonies. The US and Ireland are not members of the Commonwealth

  • @bluesboy25000 Well they are from Ireland which is part of Great Britain. Shit I knew most American's were ignorant but...........................

  • @TheNails53 How stupid are you; the Republic of Ireland is not part of Great Britain. Please go back to Mexico or even to England; anywhere but here! We have enough uneducated/unskilled Mexicans already, have you been to California lately?

  • Layers of vocal harmonies that send shivers up and down the spine. Superb music. Thank you Brian.

  • what tv show did this play in? its driving me crazy!!

  • @ILuvCaroline I think it was the "Party at the Palace" for the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002.

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!!

  • You can convert thiss to an mp3 at ezmp3grab..com

  • poor Corrs had to perform with him!!! lol...

  • i love him, I heard the rumour that he was going to play and I was having a party with a group of younger matesin their early 20s who were into rap and dance music at the time...then as the show was aired live on tv the mentioned everyone who was coming up on the show except brian..I thought I wont be on for sure but is was wrong...what a suprise...my mates watched and for weeks after we kept on playing his magical set..they loved him

  • i love him

  • Fantastic ,,

  • Brian is totally cool. I have always been a fan, and it is nice to see the Corrs in this video too. Great stuff

  • That band is really good.

  • I agree with you No1emilybrowningfan!

  • a great song and a great performance

  • God Bless Brian Wilson!!!!!!!!

  • Andrea and Brian : a true love story during

these 3:24 of wonderful melody ! Superb.

  • The Queen of "Britain" then why is the drummer wearing an England top??

    that annoys me a lot

great song by the way :)

  • So beautiful! Most beautiful song ever written.

  • brian wilson is a true genius, just imagine if the original beach boys were still around with the amazing original harmonies

  • You're just a stupid teenager who doesnt know a shit about music. The Beach Boys were one of the greatest bands ever, Brian had several issues that make him unable to sing as he used to. Bu hey, what do you wanna know? Go ahead put your corrs cd on and be happy.

  • And of course that the corrs are much more inteligent than you are, and they certanly have put this concert as one of their highlights.

  • she is eye candy with a beautiful voice

  • It's so lovely how Brian feels his songs. Guitar hero has nothing on him.

  • This has got to be the best performance of this song, ever. They don't make 'em like Brian Wilson any more. Andrea Corr...man, she is just perfect. The Coors should do an entire album with Brian. She and her siblings were in fine form at this concert. Check out The Corrs rendition of The Long and Winding Road at Party At The Palace.

  • Brian still rocks!

  • Amazing song. Thank you thank you thank you for uploading this clip.

  • Superb. Simply Superb Song. And knowing what Brian Wilson has gone through he is Superb in this. Touching and Superb.

  • The greatest legend in music performing the greatest song ever written. Amazing!

  • Brian sounds pretty good.

  • that man is a legend i know but some faces he pulls scare me

  • lolololololololololololol

  • i love andrea's top

they could have showed more of sharon and caroline singing

  • Eh eh ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I`m glad. I looked a long time for that video - and now i found it at you tube. Great. Do you think Brian Wilson looks a bit like Odo (DS 9)?
