@jahmusic420 It isn't a glitch or an easter egg. My theory is that when Treyarch develoved Black ops, they were testing camos on secondary weapons but decided not to put it in the final game. They just made a mistake and accidentely left it in the game. If it was an easter egg, why would they patch it?

it's not an easter egg. EVERY SINGLE WEAPON has all camos, but they're unused. That explains the camo mod in MW2 because there's no way anyones spending 3000 bucks for the modeling program to do that. They probably had the wrong return data value in the coding of the file, which is why the crossbow is gold. It's still a glitch.

It's texture was made but never put into the retail game (It's in the files but not on the crossbow), it's more along the lines of a glitch. You could probably simulate this if you had done this but for say an AK47. They probably patched it because it was truly a glitch. There are probably other guns you could golden too that don't have the gold camo in the final game.
