Well, I just just the Karaoke function inside my Realtek HD Audio Manager. Not all soundcards support that though. Brilliant tool to play along and avoid re-tuning the guitar all the freaking time.

In the video I've tuned to E standard. I've pitched the song up a 1/2 step. The song is originally played in Eb, but I didn't bother to tune to that.

Is your guitar one of those ESP Explorers before they had to change the shape?

Well, it's an ESP MX-250, made in late 2007. It has the "old" shape you are refering to. They only made it in Japan though, since that's the only place in the world where they were allowed to make it (I think)

I know there was the edwards explorer, but its not exactly the same.

Could you tell me how much one of these would cost?

I think I paid around 2500$ for mine, don't remember exactly. You just have to be lucky enough to find one at ebay =)
