I can have the blade/carrier make any movement I want. Including moving both simoultaniously. I have only "packed it out" with the ejection plate at the rear. Don't have enough "trash" to fill it up.
It holds a lot yes! Actually you can pack more into this truck with the ejector fully extended than you could gpack into my lego-truck. And it has no ejector at all!
We basically have three brands of RL-trucks: Norba, Joab and NTM. Other trucks are pretty rare.
@Gloomshadow over in united kingdom where im from we have a lot or Norba bodys the only ntms here is the k series type they seem to pack well .I like norba there the best manufacture in europe there sweep blades our a nice clean design .i hope to have my own rcv one day
Thanx!! Nice too see that it is appriciated! :-) When it is finished, would there be any interest in adding it to the collectors corner at the ClassicRefuseTrucks-page?
Damn that is too awesome, great work on this one. I still can't believe you can get hydraulics that small too haha Will we one day see the ultimate replica with mini push button controls and a functioning hydraulic valve block on the side? lol I'm sure one day you'll fit a working diesel engine under the cab too :P Always loving your work on these models, I can't wait to see more!
Thanx again! The day I found these mini hydraulics, it opened up a new world of possibilities for me! Mini push buttons may be an option one day, but so far I prefer to radio-control the truck. The problem with the valve blocks are that they are too small to fit into the tailgate. Also they are servo-operated and will be hard to convert to "manual operation"
I think I will go with electric motors, but thanks for the high expectations! ;-)
You make the best garbage truck models! You've outdone yourself here, I thought it was lego at first, then I realized you've built it out of metals. Can't wait to see more footage of it, think we could get like a "tour" video that shows off the model as a whole and maybe some of the mechanics? :D
can you reverse the blade is well .have you filled it up yet

I also prefer the Norba bodies. Like how the packer blade opens up so far outwards befor descending.

By all means, CRT will be pleased to add this to collectors corner. I will post these videos in the next issue, which is a week away.
