It was Andrew Nesbitt, well known Irish rally driver, in fairness to him he reacted the quickest! Car was blocking the stage and Atkinson actually thought he was in a field and disoriented
Ahh that's cool then. I thought it was a marshall. All the marshall's in NZ are total tools walking around on a power trip telling people what to do. In this case the guy actually knew what he was talking about. Was a big off for Atko!

naw our marshalls just stood about like tools doing nothing,i was working starts and there was only 2 or 3 marshalls that would do anything for us.
