if you think about it, shouldn't a tzero style car be relatively inexpensive to make?

a suitable electric motor shouldn't cost all that much. power electronics is quite inexpensive even though many products like AC150 most certainly are not (the power electronics in a typical curtis costs 80$) and the batteries now at around 250$/kWh and the body work is simple it should be possible to make a similarly performing car at cost many can afford. a poor man's tesla
