is this NW Marie Drive by the UBC Campus? I used to study at UBC and loved jogging down this road. I've been looking a clip of this area forever. thanks so much.
Lived their most of my life in East Vancouver just down from the old home of the B*C*LIONS .Love being an away fan tho. Thanks for the drive duude. Canucks started great eh?and I probably couldve gone to a Det./Van. game.[sigh] I miss Wreck beach lol. good times, thx again.
I live in Vancouver i i think it's the greatest city in the world =P it just gives me a weird feelings which i don't know how to explain. Culture, modernization coming together, ahh it's GREAT!
I apologize; i can understand how the word "mindless" might be a bit harsh and insulting. Vancouver is a very beautiful and natural place but there is so much more to be done with this place, so much potential. If travelled a lot to different places and it's just a shame to see how places that are not as great as vancouver still make it so much more lively and pleasurable.
Is this modern day Sodom and Gomorrah? I must point out a scary fact that Earth is literary being destroyed/dieing through robbing to much of it's resources and fertile ground by industrialization, overpopulation and carelessness, that which will take Earth billions of years to recover if we just stop now, double the time it took Earth to develop in the first place with the combination of everything lost. I hope they don't do anything more at the cost Creation's work. I believe less is more.
Surely, it doesn't have to be. But on the contrary that is not the case. Our selfish and materialistic way of living and construction of cities aren't set up to be eco-friendly. Naturally, it will take Earth well over 100 million years to heal from just 40 years of recent modern exploitations.
Imagine the potential at our rate multiplied exponentially with increased overpopulation. The dunces in the upper and uppermost ranks care a dirt for that. I only want people to be more conscious about Earth's natural pleasures which needs to be in balance and is of a life-decisive importance.

figures that an ignorant american would say that... you probably think some of us drive snomobiles to work, right?
moron... Vancouver rains in the winter, just like Seattle does and New York and northern states snow! more proof that americans are ignorant... thanks for that!
it was just a sarcastic joke you worthless sack of shit. Go get a sense of humor you sad pathetic fool. I know alot of Canadians and none are even close to being rude and selfish as you are. I think all Canadians would agree that bitter people like you are a shame to your nation.
haha!! rude, selfish and bitter??? not even close buddy... just a proud canadian that hates ignorant people that stereotype Canada with their narrow little minds... :)
Not every American thinks Canadians drive snowmobiles nor is every American ignorant. I live in Texas, so I live on a ranch, ride a horse, and support Bush? I don't think so. Let's all not be such damn bitches on youtube ok?
Good video! it really brings back memories, i used to get so much speed on my mountain bike coming down that hill from UBC. That's funny that you go down by the Jericho Tennis Club, i used to work there. I used to bike across Burrard bridge everyday too!!

Vancouver's weird. You earn almost nothing and yet everything (especially the houses) is ridiculously expensive. I dunno, something's just missing there; there's not much sense of place or something.
yeah the song is called "just another doof doof song by some retard with a keyboard" by a band called "we are not talented to play instruments so we copy and sample real musicians music". The song featured on a film once called "95% recycled music crap from other dance songs and 5% new samples from some real musicians true work"
I lived in Switzerland and its very cold! its very cool place! norway, sweden, holland, luxembourg, north france, germany, russia, they are all cold but they dont suck! ur fucking jelous asshole! also u cant have the best marijuana in vancouver u piece of shit!!!
I will be moving to Vancouver from the states once I'm finished with my B.A. I can't wait to become part of your much more civilized society :) Thanks for posting
we're thinking of moving from london, ontario canada to vancouver canada for a possible work transfer, thanks for the video, it gives me good insight to where exactly we plan to move, thanks, keep up the great vids!
Where is this video shot. I don't recognize it. The road to Spanish Banks from Wreck Beach point maybe? I left Vancouver a few years ago, thinking it sucked, and I found the rest of the world sucks more.
It's a very nice video of Vancouver. But do you think next time you could get a co-pilot to film? That is really dangerous while trying to drive. I don't want to get run over. Heck. I'll sit in the passenger seat and film for you. lol
For those wondering: The clip starts driving east down SW Marine Dr. on the south side of Burrard Inlet, alongside Spanish Banks; then over False Creek on the Burrard Street Bridge, looking towards the West End of downtown Vancouver; then right (east) onto Pacific Blvd. into Yaletown; then left (north) onto Homer Street, where the video ends.
It's too bad this video wasn't from the North Van. going over Lions Gate through the park to Downtown. Would have been an Awseome pic. Then you could save the inane comment for your lack of having a life!
dude i walked to downtown van from jericho beach and that was the first time i walked over that bridge, awesome video.. good times and memories man!

One thing I like about Canada is that on Canadian YouTube videos people don't make idiotic nonconstructive remarks.
It's great to live relatively close to that tranquility.
