While other breeds of parrots (like Macaws) have pupil-like eyes, Cockatoos have solid black eyes. Thus, do any of you think a Cockatoo might be scary? With just solid dark eyes staring at you?

Defilently not solid black. I have looked at a cockatoo's eyes face-to-face. They really are vary easily seen as brown, with visable pupils. And they are adorable!

how do you get urs to make noises? mine just screams and brakes things. Ocasionally he will imitat but he never does it on command.
