A refurbished computer it's not always returned because it is broken or damaged even though most do. Few are returned because some people changed their mind and want the money back or want another type of whatever reason. So you are not always getting one refurbished and expect it was damaged or broken it could have been just returned under the 14 days money back time. 14 days its not enought to damage a computer and even if it was the computer was new and broken? Then new can damage! =)

I bought a refurbished one and it came intact n neat..some ppl say here that 200 bucks is not a saving but if you put this way that you can use those 200 to buy accesories or add few dollars more and you can buy apple care I mean its worth it buying refurbished because you still get one year warranty and 90 days phone support. And the Referbished ones dont come with the 4GB ram, and i dont want to take mine apart and install more ram. And yea. You get a deal when you get iWork pre installed. Funny thing is that my was suppose to be 2GB but whne it got here it was 4GB!!! I WAS SOO HAPPY! DONT HAVE TO SPEND EXTRA $30 - 50 or w/e. Its pretty easy though to replace them.

iWork, type in youtube search "free iwork 09" people have serials and easy way to get free. Download trial then once its downloaded then go to upgrade or something and then enter the serial. DONE! 100% free & full version. Just watch videos on youtube.

But it is up to you which you want to buy.
