Organize yourselves with science, statistics, with academics and concrete information. These are universal languages and leave no room for doubt. Offer rational and solution (if solutions are not as obvious, then offer shared goals.)The point is to keep organized to understand and know the issue from ALL angles, and realize that not only do you want to liberate the Black Community, but that you need to share a community with many races and creeds as well. The world isn't just black and white.

True indeed, Raptor. They are a mixed culture that evolved from a Black Afrikan culture with course hair, but many just remember or exploit the image of the straight-haired Egypptian into mind. Dynasty's/Empires like Egypt and Rome relied heavily on outsiders to work and populate their cities and this lead to race-mixing.
I tend to believe that most ancient Egyptians were the darker more course version because that is the way melanin devolves due to outsider mixing. ie; European intermarriage.

Nut cases abound in all segments of America. They have a right to speak, but it doesn't make them any less nut cases. I will have to show this to some of my friends who actually were born and lived in Africa. I am sure they would find it a strange American perspective and quite alien to their native cultures.

He is speaking of "African people" well, African people are in Africa, African Americans (as well as Euro Americans, Asian Americans, Latin Americans, etc.) are Americans. Well, I hear there are nice places to live in Mugabe's Zimbabwe or al-Bashir's Sudan! The USA, like all countries, has its problems - there is no doubt - but there are many countries far worse than the USA. At least in America, with all our flaws, we can try to effect change without being squashed. So keep on complaining about how terrible the inequity is (free speech), meanwhile others will be working to actually create a better world for ALL people - not just ones who like like them.

The thing about speaking out against inequality, is that we can't pick and choose when we do it. As a young black male myself I get frustrated with these self appointed 'leaders' of the black community who speak about the world vs. the black race but fail to address the blatant injustices and inequality that are rife in Africa. Say what you want about Obama and the rest, but they will do far more for the progression of black people than one million Mugabes.

So how do we join this party? How do we unite? Where? When? We all want to unite, well most, but we don't know how. Blacks do need a community and leaders, not rappers who work for white people. But I don't know that many blacks who don't work for whites. Can you trust someone who gets paid by those who divide us. We need a system I think.

I propose that we organize first by getting our families together and create a way of communication with all members. Unite 1st with you relatives and love your relatives. Support their projects and be a tight group. Form a sort of family structure of leaders, goals, and communication. Then we can add other families to be one big force. Then the community, using the same structure, and then all black folks. Then black nations. But it first starts with you and your immediate family. Bro&Sis

I was in Ghana, Benin and (even) Morrocco people were exited about Obama, whatever his policies, his presence has inspired something in the people of the disapora to come together, he is the link. If you are Black and don't vote for Obama you are voting for Mcain.
