By the way, this game does not even come close to the ridiculous requirements of Crysis to run at a decent 26 27 frames on very high detail. Know this: The Unreal Engine is the most optimized engine that I've ever played games on (UT, GOW, Dark Sector and others) Nice Vid by the way :)

I have a question.. I have a 9800gtx with Intel 2 Quad Core Q6600 at 2.4 GHz. I'm pretty sure the processor is good, and I just got the 9800gtx. I had an 8500gt, and I heard that the 9800gtx was really good for its price, and it could run things super well, but I'm not sure now. Is it good? I'm unable to update my drivers (I know the card is known for that, it's true), but is the card overall very good? If you can give me any info on why when I update drivers, why does it freezes on restart?

Yeh you do know UT3 has a frame rate cap at 62fps.....

And i figured it out all by my self :)

Because of Windows vista wireless network, it refreshes to find a new server every 60 seconds. So, the problem was in a fast paced game like UT3 , it requires alot of network functionality. Thus, every 60 seconds it would strutter. :)

A 9800gtx is not overkill, no I am not stepping up JUST for crysis. Games coming out in about a year will be crysis calibre, I'm sure of it. You can never have "too good" of a graphics card. If that ever happens, you know your market has failed and it is time to jump ship. Devs will keep making games that even with the best hardware, you will barely be able to max it out and have it run stable. That's the great thing about pc gaming, always pushing the limits. Half life 2, F.E.A.R, Crysis, etc.

Yup, a significant leap except the 8800 GTX superclocked versions quite oftenly outperform the 9800 GTX on some benchmarks and the other way around in others... Im affraid its kinda russian roulette wether your game will have higher or lower performance on the ultra-high resolutions...

Iself am saving up for an X48 mobo with some DDR3 and the new 9900 for my new upgrade though :)

Which is a complete waste of money, I have mine stable at 800mhz core/2000mhz shader/1250mhz memory. I could clock it further, but I dont want to put the fan up past 70%, afraid it might die out soon if I do that :P.
