  • The Lie and filth of the Merovingians. This cult of immorality will have it's day in hell. Joe Smith and Brigham Young, the Mormon Profits, claim such a genealogy and they can all stew in hell with all the violence and lies they have brought to the table of civilization.

  • What's the whole show called?

  • I can see that the people who will read my comment below would probably give me hate replies, but that's ok, I don't judge people because how they were raised.

  • I think Jesus was only a metaphor for the people who does good and died for it.

Jesus didn't really exist, and the same with god(unknown variable). The whole purpose of the bible was to explain things people didn't know back in the day, now we have a better understandings of the world so the words in the bible are becoming more irrelevant. Example of people who did some good things: Ghandi, MLK,John Lennon....

  • The mass breeding and slaughter of animals for consumption is an act of terrorism.it fuels the blood sacrifices reptilians need to control humanity. Kill the R-complex. Conway Michael Sinclair Woodburn. Sumerian.

  • @NightmareAU That's exactly what this video is- BS. Jesus never married anyone. Nor did He have relationships with anyone. What happened was, He was raped before they crucified Him and then the women who was forced upon Him, was taking to Questenberg Germany and had TWINS. That is the beginning of His Bloodline. See my video for proof. The Painter Nicholas Poussin found the info and then painted the whole story in His Paintings.

  • LAWL

  • Like I told Steve, the Bloodline of Jesus is the Quesenberry Bloodline, not His. I suggest you look at my videos and see for yourself. According to the famous painter Poussin, He says different. Jesus never married anyone. He was raped before they killed Him. Then the women was taken to Questenberg Germany. It's a Bloodline of Rape and when Andrew Gough finds the entrance of that cave there, with the info I gave him, the world will know it too.

  • "second-hand-halo".....Brilliant!

  • He wishes ... Utter crap!

  • prove it!

  • His siblings and his children and his WIVES, plural, are all iisted in the book ,Anna, The voice of the Magdalenes. The order of the Magdalenes, not one single one known as Mary Magdalene, no such person!

  • People still trying to figure out or learn the story of JESUS via the bible is a Joke and HIlarious! That old book is worthless and it has been proven that Constantine and his council of Nicea, tax collectors and politicians put this book together in hopes of bringing all people under the Roman roof!

  • In John 19:25, the original Greek states. "But by he cross of Jesus were the Mother of Him AND the sister of the Mother of Him, Mary the wife of Cleopas AND Mary the Magdalene.

  • " The precise positioning of the ANDs in the original Greek makes it clear that Mary the Wife of Cleopas, is also referred to as the Virgin Mary's sister. Since we know no-one has two daughters and calls them BOTH Mary, we know that sister here does not mean sister. The same would apply to "brother" with reference to Jesus.

  • While James and Joses are mentioned as Jesus's brothers in Matthew 13:55, it is made clear in Mathew 27:56 and Mark 15:40 that their mother was another Mary.

Matthew 27:56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons.

This "other Mary" at the Cross, is revealed in John 19:25 to be the wife of Cleophas. Mary of Cleophas is therefore revealed as the mother of two of Jesus's so-called "brothers", James and Joses.

  • see from Mt. 27:55-56, that the James and Joses mentioned in Mark 6 as the "brothers" of Jesus, are actually the sons of another Mary. And, one other passage to consider is Acts 1:14-15, "[The Apostles] with one accord devoted themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with His brothers...the company of persons was in all about a hundred and twenty." A company of 120 persons composed of the Apostles,

  • Mary, the women, and the "brothers" of Jesus. Let's see there were 11 Apostles at the time. Jesus' mother makes 12. The women, probably the same three women mentioned in Matthew 27, but let's say it was maybe a dozen or two, just for argument's sake.

  • @martlut lol Mother Mary wasnt the 12th apostle, where did you get that idea?

  • So that puts us up to 30 or 40 or so. So that leaves the number of Jesus' brothers at about 80 or 90! Do you think Mary had 80 or 90 children? She would have been in perpetual labor! No, Scripture does not contradict the teaching of the Catholic Church about the "brothers" of Jesus, when Scripture is properly interpreted in context.

  • @martlut err, he had 4 brothers. are you on acid?

  • @LORDMCHUGH If the Catholic Church thought that it needed to tell anything to help it's rise. They would say anything to help their self ! Also the Catholics would be the ;last place I would go to get the truth about the world or Jesus ! the Pope says he is " THE VICAR OF CHRIST ". This means he is the same as Christ on the Earth ! I did not know Jesus needed a double !

Also the 50,000,000+ people that was killed by the Catholic Ch. for not joining the church is crying out, revenge oh Lord !

  • @turtle4aire gee 50 million care to back that asinine statement up . guess you cant it was from the rant of only a catholic brasher and liar like yourself. Yup trow out that bible of yours it came from the catholic church.

  • You can have Jesus blood line if you are a decedent of his brothers and sisters ! Jesus did have brothers and sisters to have decedent to people now a days !

Jesus does not need any earthly people to help him in his mission of the world ! If he can flip a finger and the earth is gone, why do you think he needs earthly peoples help ! Please give us a break here !

  • @turtle4aire better go read your bible and shale the dust off it Christ had no Brothers or sisters

  • @martlutle4aire Jesus had no brothers? what of James (the just), Joses, Simon and Judas (better known as Jude). If you dont believe me look in Matthew 13:55. In Matthew 1:25 Jesus is called 'Marys first born'. Matthew 13:56 and Mark 6:3 also allude to Jesus having sisters.

How about opening that Bible and reading the text instead of just dusting it off every now and then like you accuse others of doing.

  • @dortyhoor That's right he Had no Brothers as the Bible clearly;y proves

  • @martlut The Bible mentions Jesus siblings clearly, I take it you havent bothered to actually read the passages I pointed out in the box below. Look in Matthew13:55,1:25 and Mark 6:3.

Jesus brothers names were James (the just), Judas (jude), Joses and Simon. In Matthew13:56 and Mark 6:3 it also speaks of Jesus sisters, look it up in your Bible, then reply to me.

"those with eyes yet cannot see' is very apt in your case.

  • @turtle4aire If Jesus didnt need 'Earthly people' to help him in his mission why did he bother to gather around him 12 diciples as well as his "constant companions" the Marys? What kind of church are you a member of may I ask? Even the church of Rome acknowledges this, after all, they do claim it was founded on his disciple Peter after all (even though Peter, nor Paul never held office as the bishop (Pope) of Rome ever, the first one was Linus, appointed by Paul in 58AD after Peters death).

  • Eliabeth Vargus, looking good.

  • "Please, stop babbling about Merovingians without studying heraldry.Every Prince who has in his heraldry symbols the 'fleur de lys' is related to Merovech, Charlemagne and to the Holy Roman Empire. The last Merovech' s son who baptized his twins in St. Peter' s Church in Rome in 6-9-2010 is the Prince of Anjou Louis Alphonse de Bourbon.Merovingians are not extincted nor hated by the Church.Study heraldry and you'll find dozens of Merovingian families from Francs ancestors."

  • The biblical Jesus is historical fiction. He was largely based on Jesus of Gamala, former High Priest of Jerusalem, who attempted to sieze the city, which sparked the Roman/Jewish war. He was the son of Julia Ourania/Queen (of the) Helene(s) of Adiabene & grandson of the Persian Queen, Thermusa (Thea Muse Ourania) who was the daughter of Cleopatra VII & Julius Ceasar. He was crucified by Vespasian but rescued by Flavius Josephus & sent into prison/exile in Great Britain where he died.

  • ridiculous. no one has ever even proven that jesus existed....

  • jesus was middle eastern..

  • jesus was never married

  • this could be true. EVERYONE in the world belongs to one of the 12 tribes of isreal. One of the tribes is called Judah, Jesus is a descendant from that tribe. Some of us roaming the earth belong to that tribe. BUT IT DOESN"T MEAN WE ARE saved UNTIL we come to Jesus.

  • Fuck you christians ! your mothers !

  • Do you have any idea how sick and ignorant all of you are? Who ever or WHATEVER designed us (and obviously it was more than just one person or being) was pure genius, probably a good second try but a damned good one, I'm betting the third try will be a success tho. haha. But one this is for sure, whoever they are, they must be shaking their heads at the silly, primitive humans and the book they created. Open your eyes fools.

  • Lol u wish bish!

  • Chances are that MOST people would have Jebus as an ancestor. That is, if he procreated, as claimed.

  • these people are desperate for something to make them feel special in their sad little lives

  • jesus had no bloodline i am a christian i have read the bible and understood its meanings

  • @halo3recruit177 Jesus had brothers, his brothers had children, his children had children. But Niven Sinclair is a lunatic and is not a descendent of Jesus, if there are any they won't know they are descendents and it won't matter even if they are descendents.

  • I kinda bgelieve theirs a jesus, but he most certanly wasnt divine,

And he definatly didnt turn water into wine, fuck its all bullshit, he is no different from you or me, and doesnt deserve to be worshipped, if someone worshipped me, Id think their crazy

  • LOL wow.

fact: there is zero substantiated evidence that a man named Jesus of Galilee.

fact: the jesus story was based on the story of Horus/Osiris/Isis, which mirror each other down to the smallest details.

fact: there is no hell, and god isn't going to damn billions of souls to burn in hell for eternity.

advice: live to understand and better yourself and others.

  • Oh I just love you demonic hatemongers who fear the Holy name of JESUS. Get behind me Satan, for your judgement cometh soon.

  • I am most definitely not a hate-monger. I advocate complete and total acceptance, and do not support intolerance in any way, shape, or form.

Just because I don't believe in Jesus, doesn't immediately define me as a demonic hate-monger.

By your definition every single man, woman, and child that does not believe in jesus is immediately a demonic hate-monger.

    That logic is insane.

  • @mhaneline Everyone who doesn't believe in Jesus isn't a demon, but they are going to the same place, hell.

  • @mhaneline Fact, there was a Jesus, the people who wrote it were there at his death, there is a God and you are going to hell.

  • @DavidTheCatholic By your logic, god specifically created evil so that the majority of people on the planet would suffer for eternity because of it.

No sir, I don't believe that god would allow billions of souls to burn in hell for eternity. It's a well documented fact that reincarnation was removed from the bible. Reincarnation is what allows us to become closer to god. If we only had one life to live, you would go to hell too. A cycle of sinning and repenting doesn't make you less evil.

  • @mhaneline Not really, I accept Jesus as son of God and my saviour, i'm going to heaven, you don't, so you are going to hell, and God isn't fair, get the picture? He isn't fair, he doesn't have to be, he's God, everyone except for Christians or anyone who accepts Jesus as son of God is heading for hell, and there is no stop or detours, straight to hell, you too.

  • @DavidTheCatholic Robot.

  • @mhaneline Reincarnation? this is our only life kid, we live here, we die, we go to Heaven, people like you won't be there, people like me who believe in Jesus will be there, and the world will be started again but only people from Heaven will go and there will be no sin there. I'm sorry but you arn't coming.

  • @DavidTheCatholic lol @ you calling me kid. Get over yourself and your zealous superiority complex. Can't you see that your shit attitude doesn't help convert people? It only pisses people off. You've probably turned more people away from christ than you've helped save. Now THAT is irony!

  • @mhaneline Lol, well the people I insult and call kids, like yourself, are people that will never join Christ, shits like you who will never be with Christ. And yeah, it's a problem with me, when I smell bullshit I have to attack at it, it's a problem I have, most people will try and help the bullshit become clean, but I attack at the bullshit. Like yourself, most people would say,

  • @mhaneline hey he's only a teenager don't beat him up, but I say, hey, he has to learn not to fuck with people older than him, and guess what when i'm done with you, you won't mess with anyone older than you, it's something your parents haven't taught you, don't fuck with your elders, don't talk to strangers, little things like this can mean the difference between life and death.

  • @mhaneline Rofl, a shit from Malaysia, now I see why you are talking about this crap about Malaysia, we fucking bomb the Japs in world war 2 and the whole east of Asia can't get enough.. Ha, now I see, reincarnation? Lol! Good luck with that.

  • @DavidTheCatholic Uh, I was born in America and lived there for 30 years. I've only been working in malaysia for a year or so, working on my start-up company.

I think you're mentally unstable to be honest.

  • @mhaneline And I think you are a small penised Asian, we all don't get what we want you little shit :) and your channel says malaysia as country, put two and two together?

  • @DavidTheCatholic I'm actually irish. I didn't know jesus supported racism though. Isn't it easter sunday? Way to represent your lord and savior.

  • @mhaneline Ha, I hate shits like you who use religion to say, please don't insult me, lol, you think i'm not going to insult a shit like you when you reply to me? I'll definetly insult you, not a thing that Christ would smile and jump about, but hey we all sin. Lol and Irish, ha, you guys are a disgrace to the UK, Oh wait, you aren't even in the Uk are ya. :S IRS hippy, Go find a leprachan or whatever you folk do when you are bored, only at the end of the rainbow ya know.

  • @DavidTheCatholic I think you meant IRA, not IRS. IRS is who you pay taxes to. Anyway, keep trollin' strong this fine easter sunday. You've got a real talent for it.

  • @mhaneline Nah, I have a bad talent at that, I have a good talent at kicking people's asses who piss me off :) I might show you one day :)

    Now go find a leprichaun.

  • @DavidTheCatholic You certainly don't talk very Catholic. You know that profanity and ill treatment of another are both antithetical to the Churches teachings and are considered sins don't you?

  • @RosaSionis Lol, I really wonder why the fuck people comment to me, just feel like breaking their faces in.. Ok, right, do you mean priest molesting children? They are not Catholics, they are just idiots who have issues, most priests would never do that.

  • @DavidTheCatholic No. I mean your disgusting and completely un-Christian language on here and the way you speak to other users. I'm a Roman Catholic and I can assure you that the words you write are actually sinful. Also, your conduct is bringing disgrace upon the Church of Christ.

Either get your act together and be more Christ-like or have the decency and respect to acknowledge that you are sinning so that others know the Church disapproves of your vile language and anger.

  • @RosaSionis profanity is what priest do all the time by living their lifes and teaching false doctrins!

  • @ptv52 Very sad human being. I'll pray for you.

  • @RosaSionis haha, please pray for yourself so you may be able to see all sins. Make sure to pray for all priest that have molested and continue to molestings kids. Also, pray for the HOLY SPIRIT to bring u to the true!!

  • HAHA! GIve me a break!

  • stupid catholics

  • @motherdadder i agree with you even though i go to a catholic school lmao

  • you must be perfect ah?? Pendejo

  • i am.

  • this old fool can never be a descendant of jesus .bastard.ill be surprised if he even knws his own parents let alone jesus christ.

  • lol,,

  • omfg im descended from jesus too

  • @sekhmet2008 HAHA Too funny!

  • What an air head you are brincology, to philosophise you must use psychology together with logic....You have a flawed logic in stating subjects i have not touched upon, ie the dancing sun guff, also the fact of Mellen T Benedict having brain cancer, classed as clinically dead for over 1 & half hours, only to live after death & have no signs of any cancer in his brain at all. They are still researching for a cure from cancer. You are illogical to the hilt!

  • That is any cancer they are still looking for a cure, because cancerious cells do not disappear all together. People with cancers usually die at the finish, some maybe longer drawn out deaths than others, but cancer kills. you use self-serving argumentations & cannot philosophise to save your own backside!

  • A Plain spelling out of: For Eddie Benetiz to make claim of the sun dancing in the sky on the day of his birth came from someone else, it is impossible for Eddie to make a claim that ' He saw ' the sun dancing in the sky, this is therefore a claim from someone else & Eddie has relayed someone elses claim. Anyone understanding an ounce of philosophy can understand that . You are no master degree of philosophy brincology. I take you to be dishonest in communications. Goodbye.

  • shelley0809: Whether or not Benetiz *saw* the sun "dancing in the sky" on the day of his birth is irrelevant. NOR did he "see" a "miracle" curing him of Lymphoma, now did he? He drew conclusions based upon supernatural claims; being told that the sun did something impossible, being told or thinking that his body did something impossible.

If you were otherwise credible, but believed those who told you that, on the day of your birth, the sun danced in the sky, we should question your credibility.

  • Don't fall for this stupidity... Their are no descendants of JESUS CHRIST our LORD... Because he was crucified for our sins... Buried and risen from the grave... Know were waiting for the second coming of Christ to cleanse the Earth... Hallelujah

  • MLuve wrote "Their [sic] are no descendants of JESUS CHRIST our LORD... Because he ...Buried and risen from the grave."

And you "know" this because the book that promotes these claims says so. That's just circular reasoning, and it can be used to "prove" the claims of ANY religion.

"Know were waiting for the second coming of Christ to cleanse the Earth."

And yet, Jesus allegedly told his followers that some of them would still be alive at his "second coming". Are any of them still alive?

  • brincology i've never heard of that translation before ' Jesus told his followers that some of them would still be alive at his second coming '. Still, 1 form of translation can be well suited to what you may wish to believe. There are those that also wish to ' BELIEVE ' in evolution and others ' BELIEVE ' there is no evolution ( of mankind that is).

  • shelley0809 wrote "i've never heard of that translation before"

Matthew 16:28 -- "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

Here it is, in the oldest surviving Greek source text:

"Amēn legō hymin eisi tis histēmi hōde hostis geuomai ou mē geuomai thanatos an heōs eidon huios anthrōpos erchomai en autos basileia."

  • brincology quoting

    Matthew 16: 28

How do you know Jesus said that? Where you there with ' First-Hand account ', no you have a second-hand account from a book. Supposing Jesus said that statement for 1 minute are you so narrow-minded as to suppose that it meant only one life ' The one being lived at present ' or of a spiritual not taste of death, ie: A ressurection or transformation, as the book you quote from indeed accounts for those, but your mindset does not, hence your 1 translation.

  • shelley0809 -- How do I know Jesus said that? I don't! Indeed, I don't believe in most of the claims about Jesus. But his followers like "MLuve" certainly believe it, and only because it is written in their core text, the Bible. So why don't you leave it up to THEM to defend their claims?

  • brincology then of course you shouldbe able by now to decipher my ' First-hand & ' second-hand ' information clauses & faith which you disregarded early, classifying it as ' utter rubbish ' i think you stated, in that category is also reservation of ' Sciences ' unless you happen to be a scientist that is.

You can no more philosophise than i can shoot out firey-red balls as big & as dangerous as the sun! Goodnight!

  • *Someone* (hint: NOT me) doesn't understand the difference between relying on objective primary sources (i.e., the scientific process that demonstrates that the sun does not "dance in the sky") and taking supernatural hearsay on faith (every such claim that Benedict, Benetiz, etc., make).

I don't know what surprises me more: that a British subject like you has such a poor grasp of the English language, or that the British educational system wasn't able to teach you even the most basic logic.

  • brincology i do believe i did not once bring up the subject of so called Sun dancing in the sky, what's medical doctors & US Government investigations wanting to go ahead to do with that? You can no more philosophise than i can shoot out red-firey balls from my @rse as big & dangerous as the sun!

  • At the same time what's wrong with the natural human mind & passed on information ( as i doubt that comes from Eddie himself....No one can see or think they see on the day of thier birth) Would i be condemned myself if my mother was batty as a fruit cake?

  • @shelley0809 ..that was funny.. but you are correct....lol

  • shelley0809 wrote "i did not once bring up the subject of so called Sun dancing in the sky"

I'll take this slowly, so perhaps you can finally grasp it.

Mr. Benitez made the supernatural claim that he was "miraculously cured" of Hodgkins Lymphoma. This, you believe. He also made the supernatural claim that, on the day he was born the sun "danced" in the sky. Both claims are unsupported, both run contrary to science. You are willing to believe one of his supernatural claims; how about the other?

  • As for the rest brincology making personal remarks about British & British education etc what utter rubbish, you prove to me time and time again that you have no quality in being able to philosophise. Yes, indeed you are such a poster that throws the ' Baby ' out with the bath water, i believe that was amongst the first statements i made concerning you. Ha ha ha ha, you are most entertaining i'll give you that!

  • shelley0809: Again and again, you get it wrong. I never claimed to be "philosophizing". I am merely using logic to dissect the supernatural claims of others. And your poor use of English is apparent to anyone reading this, as is your poor grasp of basic logic.

  • the bloodline is only the tip of the iceburg, search the secert knowlegde, this is what the templar were really after, jesus did have a bloodline but its complicated,

  • Ha ha ha ha ha...great stuff! National Geographic has really sealed its reputation as a credible force for cultural investigation with this one. Do the researchers responsible for this tripe still have jobs? Does the presenter still have a rep, or is she sweeping the streets now?

  • That's exactly what beamed into my head too as soon as i came across this abominable desecration of all serious and scientific knowledge this channel has ever projected till this day!

  • The Japanese Imperial Family claims to trace its family tree directly back to Amaterasu, the sun goddess whose grandson Jimmu was "the first Emperor" of Japan, some 2,700 years ago. But of course, this is nonsense. The Japanese Imperial Family's genealogy begins in the 6th century CE, 12 centuries later, and their's is considered the oldest unbroken pedigree in the world.

The notion that Mr. Sinclair could accurately trace his family line back to 1st. c BCE Palestine is simply ludicrous.

  • What kind of bullshit is this?! As if they could demonstrate any such relationship! We don't even know for certain that Jesus bar Joseph, called "the Christ", EXISTED! There is ZERO contemporaneous evidence that he did. There were many "messiahs" active in Palestine at that time, and quite a few of them were named "Jesus" or other variations on the name.

There is not a single genealogy in the world that stretches back for 20 centuries. NOT ONE. Not even the British royal family.

    Utter TRIPE

  • who is she?

    if anyone know her name?

  • st. clair /sinclair =(un) holy light (lucifer)

  • Come on, a decendent of Jesus who is white?

    No way!

The true Israelites are BLACK (afro americans, indians, mexicans and so on).

No Esau; dont you claim such a things!

    You are so wicked..unbelieveble.

  • "Come on, a decendent of Jesus who is white?"

True israelites are semetics with their own individual DNA. They are related to arabic people as well. They were not black, nor indian nor mexican (mix of indian and Spanish). They were not white either.

  • wuao...

    all the world know taht

  • maybe delmaroeb you need too open you narrow eyes. Your right the devil does work. hes been hard at work with you religon. It is a well known fact that more people have been murdered and destroyed in the name of your god then any other. E.G witch hunting, burning of none belivers, the crusades, the Iraq war, The Italian revolution, The Spainish inquisition, the reinstatement of the king in the UK, the list goes on. 100 million people have been killed in less than 70 years in the name of GOD!

  • so never say the devil has been to work on us fool, when your the devils your selfs.

  • Williams571 Do your words mean that God Killed 100 Million? You are trying to connect God with the Ignorance of man. Man kill people for what ever agenda they have. By the way Iraq war is not a religious war. So I say to you OPEN YOUR eyes! Their are consiperacies on top of consperacies. JFK said it! And there is plenty of evidence. Back to these people, King David, Jacob, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Seth, Adam (quick recap). Is not the blood of the English People, so you can just cut that. The Q lies

  • "By the way Iraq war is not a religious war."

Then why is Pastor Hagee screaming for an escalation for an attack on Iran in order to bring about "end times" and the return of Jesus in his glory, just like in Revelation? No religion involved there, right?

  • Religion was created by man and not God. God's creation was a blessing so that we can have eternal life. Our Souls will have a place, Heaven or Hell. When you hear of any man wanting war and preaching war it is not from God.

  • "Religion was created by man and not God. "

    Absolutely.

  • Why can Jesus be son of God and be married and have kids at the same time? Who are you to tell what is possible and what isn't? Are you some expert on divinity? Do you know what God is capable of? Who gives you the right to judge others and to decide for everyone what is right and what's wrong?

  • Jesus was never married. He never had any children of His own. This is not one of His descendants. Athiests have made up this whole story to take away from Jesus's divinity. They would have believe He did not ascend to Heaven, but got married and had a family and then died an old man. (THUS SAYING HE WAS NOT THE CHRIST! WHICH HE WAS!)

    THIS IS ALL LIES!!!!!

And people who promote this story will have MUCH to account for on Judgement Day!!

  • wow! Now go get the Noble Prize for your scientific dissertation since they're waiting for you and it's not nice to let them wait. As for me, I'll be waiting for you shaking to the very core of my bones...thinking about the final judgement.

  • "Jesus was never married. He never had any children of His own. This is not one of His descendants. Athiests have made up this whole story to take away from Jesus's divinity."

Hey Einstein -- it's "athEIst", not "athIEst". And atheists couldn't care less about claims that Jesus was "divine", since the "son" of a nonexistent god is even less "divine" than that nonexistent god.

You, like everyone else who believes, simply believe because you were taught to, and want to. You have ZERO evidence.

  • I'm not taking either side but I'd like to point out that you also have ZERO evidence of the nonexistence if God/Jesus....Santa Clause...

  • 42Stretch -- that's not true at all. There is ample evidence for the impossibility of the existence of Yahweh contained in the Bible.

A "perfect" deity cannot have contradictory characteristics. If he's supposedly omniscient, he cannot be unaware of things. If he's supposedly omnipotent, there cannot be things he is unable to do. If he's supposedly just, he cannot behave in an unjust way. And yet, the Bible gives many examples of just such contradictions in Yahweh, therefore he cannot exist.

  • what are you some kind of philosophizer? I see what your saying but just because the Bible is contradictory doesn't mean that a God does not exist. That simply discredits the Bible. For all we know God may exist but has never shown any signs of his existence "prophets" have simply made shit up as they go along which can explain the unreliable and unlikely story line. Also I don't know if I agree with your logic on having to disprove the nonexistence of a God rather than proving the existence.

  • 42Stretch: yeah, I have a Masters in Philosophy.

You say that just because the bible is contradictory it doesn't mean that *a* god doesn't exist. True, but the only information we have about THIS "god" comes from the Biblical source texts. In order to know anything about any claimed "god", we need descriptions. So far every candidate has disproved its own possible existence. Of course it's possible that somewhere in the universe there's some god-like being(s), but not like any claimed so far.

  • You don't agree with the logic of requiring claimants to prove the existence of their "gods"? Does that mean that you are willing to accept the claims of all other supposed gods? Will you accept the literal existence of Thoth, Odin, Ba'al, Amaterasu, and so forth, just because they have had their believers? Or do you expect them to back up their claims with reasonable support? This is particularly problematic for monotheists like Yahwehists who claim that there is only ONE god.

  • I'm not saying that I'm willing to accept anything, I was just saying I'm sure why proving their isn't a god and proving their is a god is such a different thing, seeing as neither side would be able to do it.

  • So, you don't believe that it's possible to disprove the claim that say, Thor actually exists? -Santa Claus? -Paul Bunyan?

"Proof" that a god *does* exist should be easy to establish. Consider the claims made for Yahweh in the Bible -- he supposedly appeared to the Israelites in obvious ways (the Pillar of Cloud by day and Pillar of Fire by night, etc.). He was constantly performing dramatic miracles. Why no such appearance, or miracles today? Why would a god and his miracles just *disappear*?

  • What a collective of untruths. A masters in Philosophy you say? Well, my friend & author also has degrees in Philosophy and she happens to be a christian. You sound ' Sir ' / ' Madam ' to be throwing the ' baby ' out with the bath water! Hmm miracles you say do not happen, how wrong you are. What of the Story of Eddie Benetiz complete healing from Cancer? Mellen. T.Benedict total healing from cancer died then lived. Also what of M.Scott. Peck MD brush with entities in his work as a psychiatrist.

  • shelley0809: re: Eddie Benetiz

What is "miraculous" about him making a complete recovery from Hodgkins' Lymphoma? As any oncologist can tell you, that disease is one of the most readily curable cancers, with a recovery prognosis of 90-95%, even in its late stages.

Benetiz also claims on his MySpace page that, on the day he was born, the sun literally danced in the sky in celebration of his birth. Another of his "miracles"?

The crap that people choose to believe never ceases to amaze me.

  • bricology i do not know what on earth you are talking about Hodgkins etc. The US government wanted to investigate him.

And i'll point out this: I have never had any first-hand accounts of any science books, my information comes on a second-hand basis, so therefore to take into account any mainstream sciences i must have ' Faith ' So brincology Philosopher at large your information is relayed & based on ' Faith ' the same as my own! So you are spouting crap here brincology! Philosophise that!

  • shelley0809 wrote "...your information is relayed & based on ' Faith ' the same as my own!"

Utter rubbish. My information is based upon skepticism, repeatability, falsifiability, logic, etc. No "faith" is required to be skeptical of claims that come without any sound evidence. Mr. Benitez claims that the sun danced in the sky when he was born. Not only does he provide no evidence for this amazing claim, but it contradicts centuries of proven scientific evidence by thousands of scientists.

  • brincology what tripe, you are excersising ' faith ' based on your information, i doubt if you are a medical doctor & attended Mellen Thomas Benedict & his records yourself. OF COURSE NOT! If you are indeed a skeptic then all your comment replies should indeed be ' BLANK ' to retain such claims to skeptism.

  • shelley0809: it is the very foundation of logic and reason to demand that an extraordinary claim (say, coming back to life after death) must be backed up by extraordinary evidence. If you have ANY criminological training, you have to know this. It is Benedict who bears the burden of proof, NOT his skeptics. Has he provided proof? NO.

Are you willing to believe Sai Baba's followers' claims that he performs miracles? If not, why not? What reason would this "saint" have to make these up?

    Well?

  • shelley0809 -- what evidence do you have that Mellen-T. Benedict "died"? Only his claims. Where is the documentation from his doctors? There isn't any. In fact, Benedict's website is full of nonsense, such as him being an extremely busy filmmaker (IMDb has no record of him working on any film), etc.

Why would Benedict make up a story about surviving a NDE? Perhaps his two books on the subject (and tapes, and CDs, and videos, and appearances, and...) will give you a clue as to his motivation.

  • I understand that Mellen Thomas Benedict was classed as ' CLINICALLY DEAD '.....That kinda tells me that it was medically ( therefore SCIENTIFICALLY) supported. So again don't know what your'e talking about brincology.

  • "I understand that Mellen Thomas Benedict was classed as ' CLINICALLY DEAD'"

By whom? Have you seen his doctors' reports? Read their depositions? OF COURSE NOT. All you have is his own claims. And even if he was "clinically dead" -- there are literally hundreds of people every day who reach the state of "clinical death", which is merely cardiac arrest and the cessation of breathing. These people "come back to life", thanks to CPR and other medical techniques. No "miracles" are required.

  • brincology i class you as none other than pathetic, common sense allows for me to make a supposition that an atheist such as Mellen had no reason to make up his death after life. While i am at this reply to you, have i read any qualification & spoke with any professor about YOUR Ph.D in philosophy....Of Course not! Are you really a philosopher? As i tend to think not. Your arguments are weak & easily disgarded. To the point of Skeptism? you are not completley & excersise faith based on your info

  • shelley0809 wrote "Mellen had no reason to make up his death after life"

And you claim to have a criminology degree?! What reason would a suspect have to make up an alibi? BECAUSE IT SERVES THEM.

Your "powers" of observation are so weak that you claim I said I had a PhD in philosophy (I never did; I said I had a MASTERS), that a degree in philosophy necessarily made one a "philosopher" (it doesn't), or that I base my skepticism on "faith" (codswallop). You can't even get my name right!

  • Furthermore, it's not dependent upon me to DISprove the existence of claimed gods, or of humans for whom there is ZERO contemporary historical evidence. Can you disprove the existence of Vishnu? -of Thor or Zeus? -Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy? Of course not. The burden of proof rests with the claimant. Otherwise, we're left with an infinite number of possible claims that we would have to disprove.

  • I see you have a claimant of a Masters in philosophy on your tail ' bricology ', who unfortunatley has mislead you with information that Miracles do not happen today.....I was indeed most glad to inform him of recent modern day miracles. My friend & author is also a philosopher & a christian as well. It does surprise me that often people will pass on either thier ignorance, or tall tales, derived from only their ' view '. Sometimes i enjoy a little ' Devils Advocate ' if you will pardon the pun.

  • shelley0809: since you assert that miracles happen today, the onus is on you to prove that they do. Have any claimed miracles ever been scientifically demonstrated? Of course not.

You also need to explain how miracles are claimed by EVERY theology. If you say that Yahweh performs miracles for Christians, as a monotheist, you have to explain how the miracles that the followers of Sai Baba attribute to him, are NOT miracles. Can you do this? -or the miracles of Zeus? -or Muhammad? Of course not.

  • Eddie Benetiz Story, claims healed himself from Cancer through the faith of Jesus-Christ, the US government wanted to investigate him. You know they are still searching for a cure from Cancer! That indeed is a miracle as Doctors say he doesn't have Cancer anymore ( i guess that's scientific proof as well). I've personally spoken to Mr Benetiz. Also Mellen T Benedict Doctors say his brain Cancer is none-existant now, he was dead for 1 and a half hours and sometime after that became alive & well.

  • "the US government wanted to investigate him"

WTH are you talking about?! This is the most empty and ridiculous claim I've heard. Which branch "wanted to investigate him" -- the IRS?

"That indeed is a miracle as Doctors say he doesn't have Cancer anymore"

Yeah, thousands of people have that happen EVERY DAY. It's thanks to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, etc. Hardly "miraculous".

And how about Benitez' supposedly "dancing sun"? Do you believe that rubbish too?

  • The bible is certainly no tome of morality. Not when it espouses slavery, sex trade, rape, pillaging, religious killings, murder of those who don't believe as we do, misogyny, etc...

Morality is a cultural and internal thing.

  • The real code is in St. Peter's bloodline. See my video.

  • At the end of it all, there are Jesus's on every corner in Jeruselum, like George in London. the Bible was written for our childrens childrens morality, my dad doesnt want to see me executed.

  • hes also related to the founder of chucky cheese

  • You said your a Sinclair no? A shame, your just so ignorant, this will be my last post to you littlen, do your homework on the clan past, this will open new doors, be proud of your heritage, and don't talk in that silly voice, maybe someday, we'll chat, till then.

Da Vinci Code has nothing to do with it, thats for children!

    Sinclair

  • I am a Sinclair you dimwit. The fact is you cast me aside "sofia"

Basing all of your facts from a fictional book.

I've said before and i'll say it again.

    1. You dont even know my name so how can you say "It hasnt shown up"

    2. There is no Jesus DNA so you would be comparing my DNA to nothing.

Congratz, you fail. Learn to post a reply next time so I know you opened your face.

  • in your face sofiatemplar! hahaha joke

  • Complete bollocks... I am a Sinclair and I even looked in my family tree that goes back to being in the Knights Templar... who ever this person is is not related to me. The Knights Templar was also supposed to be situated in Scotland and I'm half Scottish.

  • Your a Sinclair? And you don't know who Niven is? Then I'd like to say that your ignorant, we don't know who YOU are, you say your family tree goes back to the Knights Templar? Really? Have you even taken a DNA test to prove that, cause I haven't seen your name on any test's we've done.

  • Didn't even tell you what my name was so, unless you're psycic or you own a working crystal ball then you don't even know what my name is. A point in a DNA test? I didn't realise we had preserved Jesus' DNA to prove that sort of thing. All I know is that i'm half scottish, related to one of the Knights Templar. But, to be honest, i'm not bothered if you don't believe what I am saying or not. But it looks like you're trying to base your facts on the DaVinci code.... Sofia?

  • Right shoemage!..But Sofia is anyway a charater from the fictional novel Da Vinci Code..So it doeznt matter.Hehe..But how come u dont know niven??..Whether he doez or doeznt belong to bloodline

  • Never came accross him in any way shape or form.
