It's nice that there is this record before the earthquake happened. Before I left Christchurch for the UK there was great things going on, The Thirsty Bloke on Victoria Street did several beer tasting nights with local brewers and it was great to have craft beers all in one place. Very disappointed when it closed down!

Ralph Bungard is the most envied brewer in New Zealand...if he isn't then you've not really tasted his beer and you're lying to yourself. A true kook who does his best to hide his enthusiasm for his craft...the wife keeps him in check.
