  • Thumbs up if the thumbnail of this video looked like a cock LOL

  • i was there it was great

  • guitar amp sound , who needs the rest of the band - tell em to take a powder. guy who recorded this bootleg mustve had rinigng ears for days.

  • your only as good as your soundman. lol, but thats not the case with this vid, its just amateur video, and doesnt have a sound guy standing back to get the whole sound.

  • lol,these shits were crap!

  • yea i just heard them in hellsinki on july 29 and they were loud as hell...i wll send my video response over there, hope it'll work. it was an AWESOME gig, fantastic

  • This clip shows (hears) us what a great guitar player Syl is

  • One can't judge the sound from a camera,

    but who cares here,

    The Dolls rule, so cool,

    wish I was there,

Rock music is suppose to be loud,

    Looks soooooo fun there!

  • this is fine its the real deal xxxxx

  • man the best bands played here

  • It IS nice of you to share this! Great to see these guys are still around!!!!!! Thank you for posting this.

  • i just saw the dolls at the fillmore in nyc last night --- they still have the raw energy they had back in the 70's. i'm amazed (and loved) that they sound so RAW.

  • The sound is not Sylvian's fault, I've had this happen when people videotaped my ex-band's shows. The guitar is too loud because the camera was too close to the guitar amp and/or the amp was angled directly towards the camera.

  • Don't blame Sylvain for the poor sound recording, I can't believe the Dolls are back and so STRONG. Their recent album is very good, the album of their live show at Royal Festival Hall makes those old songs sound better than ever.

  • You must be fucking kidding.

  • I saw the new Dolls Live last spring in Vancouver...what a blast, Johanssen is still one of the best frontman in rock. The whole band was rockin' and their new album is great. long live the new Dolls...R.I.P. Johnny, Jerry, "Killer" Kane :)

  • @spiderbaby1958 Your right,new record is tremendous

  • the best intro in the world ,i need a nursey , my sweet babie

  • Who is the undeniable hack on guitar. Can't hear Johanson's vocals at all...the sound is downright awful!

  • Who is that hack on guitar?

  • Sylvain

  • Not a fan then?

  • Now THAT's a big shoe!

  • these DOLLS still have some life in em.....cheers!!!

  • I was at that show, they still have that same raw energy. New York Dolls are with Ramones my favourite NYC rock bands.

  • Cb`s sucked. They always talked about how great the sound system was A+... Not in my lifetime. Thunders and the Heartbreakers playing one block over rocked. We had a better sound engineer and it was at least cleaner than that pisshole....

  • all the venues I witness JT were so much better he was only leaving the NYD image behind to showcase his talent, amen let him RIP

  • They still rock man, despite the fact that the great JT can't ever be replaced. Some cool tunes from their last album: Running around, Fishnets and cigarettes, Gimme love and turn on the lights, Dance like a monkey...

  • I can't hear David at all... Anyway this is my favourite song from New York Dolls, they rock

  • Que buenas tomas IMPRESIONANTES!!!!!!

    VENGAN A ARGENTINA YA!!!!

    POR FAVORRRRRRRR

  • NOT to be forgotten.... The New-York Dolls spirit was....the GREAT Johnny THUNDERS....so, I doubt if this reunion was necessary !!!!!!!

  • Johnny didn't start the band.

His spirit is with them, and if you haven't seen them since, your loss cause' they still rock : )

  • Johnny was great but I would still like to se David and the rest of the Dolls! I kinda agree! It's like two different times though.

  • can't hear a thing besides Syl's guitar but kind of cool to just hear him playing

  • I was front row center for the Ramones in Sept 77 on one of these clips but really the Dolls started it all, wonderful clip thanks to whomever...JOHN, 51.5, Birmingham, MI
