I found the remake to be shockingly ultra-violent. I think they went too far. The damn thing stands up and appears to relieve itself on the street below, and belches. They probably got far enough in their studies to create a laser that kills them specifically. They came to Earth in this movie because to them it was the right time. @MrChamp51 Im sure they created it specifically to destroy humans. They had buried their machines underground for an untold amount of time, and have been studying humans. They probably got far enough in their studies to create a laser that kills them specifically. They came to Earth in this movie because to them it was the right time. The attack wasn't random is was premeditated.

@PecheRecords none sense the laser burns human except the cloth .... and yet the same razor destroys the bridge, airplanes, houses. Im sure those things are not biological...
if humans in the movies were smart they wouldve made huge cloth shield and block the razor lol cuz apparently its the only thing it cannot destroy
