To live the life that Ted Kennedy you have to have a great sense of humor with all the peaks in valley's he lived through. Richard Nixon in his White House farewell speech said "you'll never know what its like to be on top of the highest mountain until you been on the lowest valley" & that fits Ted Kennedy's life as well.

I wish Kerry had been elected; think of not having the misery of Bush's second term. This is a fabulous speech--wish he'd given more like this during his presidential campaign.
