Ever since I was little, I've thought something was a little 'off' about the system we live in. Life experiences confirmed that original, instinctual distrust. Sooner or later every person is going to have to choose sides. I choose good. I choose moderaton. I choose to care about people other than myself in addition to my family. I choose to forego shiny things. I choose to not see people as losers or winners. I choose to at least be open to love and peace.
I get what you're saying. In every thing we do, we choose. I choose balance, and yet in many ways it seems more like a goal. Often we have to remember what may be good for us, may not be good for someone else. It's like the notion of truth. Truth can vary and is really relative. Needless to say, I've discontinued that phase of my life and am focusing on what I feel is real education, learning real useful skills.. For me, the education was a lot more informative than the news. And in the long run, as long as you can apply that knowledge you could be better off. And besides, I had good health insurance through at a school that was reputable for medicine. Not too shabby life for a former waiter.
Ahh, it is a matter of determining what the difference is between Knowledge and information. I studied to be on the news, broadcasting, and also many other things. Much of what I learned has taught me critical thinking skills, and yet, much of what is being taught is brainwashing to that end. It is very quaint. I feel that having "information" is useless unless you know how to apply that info. Which is why I've left school, and decided to learn applicable knowledge. Not useless information.
I see some people waking up but the majority are still asleep. Were still supporting most the politician who helped create this mess and their solution to the economic problems are the same thing that caused it...more fiat money, low interest rates, inflation, debt and consumption. In waking up friends and family, I have learned responses to many of the typical questions like "there's not enough gold to make every coin out of it so you can't have money that's backed by gold" and "the theory of evolution is only a theory!" The message of awakening that Tolle and many others speak isn't about certain facts or points that needs to be considered. If one actually listened to what these people say, you'll find that they don't preach any belief system at all, whether religious or political. But for the sake of conversation, could you point out what you find to be "fraud & manipulation" in these teachings? Interested in your point of view.

Yesterday this chick i know was pissed cause the credit card companies changed her billing date, she missed it so they jacked the rate from 7% to 24%. she is pissed off too, so i throw some truth at her and it didnt even make her think twice, the idea is just too big for most sheeple to handle, realizing its all a lie and the joke is on them is hard to fathom. I get what you're saying. In every thing we do, we choose. I choose balance, and yet in many ways it seems more like a goal. Often we have to remember what may be good for us, may not be good for someone else. It's like the notion of truth. Truth can vary and is really relative. We can hope that what we're doing moves us higher in the evolutionary process and I think that this is the most important part of all of it.
That and seeing the One Creator alive in everything.

I was referring to Ray Kurzewweil theory that Computers/Machines will achieve superior intelligence then the humans that created them. These machines will be able to create faster/smarter versions of themselves.

Reality shift? It's a paradigm shift from one paradigm to another. It's also understood as a shift from one cannon of knowledge to another. The paradigm and cannon that we are current in is understood as a non-integrated dark age, and where we are going to is an integrated age of enlightenment. To get to the new paradigm and cannon, you will need to know what and who a renaissance genius is. This is what I'm figuring.

For you to know what a renaissance genius of the 21st century is, it will require you to acknowledge who that individual is. Currently, it sounds like you know neither what or who. When you reach the point of knowing what, you will be able to actually acknowledge who. The point of acknowledgment is at the point of confession with your mouth, similar to the teachings of the Christ and Christianity.

I also take with a grain of salt the views of those who're YouTube partners. @HomesteadProvacateur, I don't understand. I put myself through university and didn't feel that I took all the courses I wanted to before graduation. For me, the education was a lot more informative than the news. And in the long run, as long as you can apply that knowledge you could be better off. And besides, I had good health insurance through at a school that was reputable for medicine. Not too shabby life for a former waiter.

Ahh, it is a matter of determining what the difference is between Knowledge and information. I studied to be on the news, broadcasting, and also many other things. Much of what I learned has taught me critical thinking skills, and yet, much of what is being taught is brainwashing to that end. It is very quaint. I feel that having "information" is useless unless you know how to apply that info. Which is why I've left school, and decided to learn applicable knowledge. Not useless information.

Great vid jacob. Before the current economic turmoil I was quite sure we were corner to the artificial Intelligence Singularity.
There was speculation that on whether AI would be good or evil or both. Speculation on how much more advanced thinking machines would be then us.
Now I wounder if any of your viewers have any thoughts on whether the Singularity still is possible or will the technology needed for this evaporate due to giveing Banks and large Insurance companies all the MONEY, lol.

Welcome to the world "outside the box" Its funny how in the corporate world we were taught to think outside the box all the time. Well, like you, I am trying to LIVE outside the box. I'm tired of the "game" and chasing an empty American dream. I have found myself observing a lot more lately - I am truly taking the time to realize what's important. It's amazing when you take the time ro smell the roses; you really see what a beautiful world this is and that "stuff" truly doesn't matter.

Well victor2cutube, that may be the case where you are, but it's not how things are here, or the places I "hang out" online. Surround yourself by others who ask skeptical questions, but also do what you can to wake up those around you. There's no harm in being realistic about what's happening around us, but great harm is possible in forming an artificial world where we lie to each other and ourselves. We NEED reality right now, and I think the masses are waking up in huge numbers! Finally!!!

In waking up friends and family, I have learned responses to many of the typical questions like "there's not enough gold to make every coin out of it so you can't have money that's backed by gold" and "the theory of evolution is only a theory!" But the one that still gets me is "People have been talking like you talk forever. This time is no different." I can point them to info after info, but they see it as business as usual. Anyone have any ideas about how to come back to that? Hit "reply". :)

wow. this time IS different and much more far reaching. Kind of like the last number of crashes have been increasing waves beating against the dyke and now...this one has gained the power and momentum to crest far above the wall and come crashing down in very dramatic ways.

Real power comes from our ability to recognize we don't have the answers, to stop convincing others that "our" answer is "the" answer, and recognizing that the awakening comes from the searching and not from the finding. I believe you mean really well, and you do have good information presented in an articulate manner - that's why I subscribe.
As for not having a political agenda, GOOD. Politics are part of the problem, but not part of the solution.
I do feel a shift in humanity's perspective, happening rapidly in real time. 911 was the start for many people, but countless others are still just opening one eye and peering around, confused and alarmed. But it's a very exciting time. Be positive and open-minded!

I agree totaly theres a shift happening, Im not awakened in the sense im self realised but I certainly see through lots of old conditioning.
When we teach its not about opinions, its about making the person you teach realise whatever you have realised up until this point.
So on that point it would be nice to know what you have awakened to, what lies do you no longer believe to be truth? Did anything aid you in your awakening, who are your teachers?

Now, I find that the dogmatic positions don't tell the story (for me).

I agree with what you say about awakening and the transition the world is going through.
We can each play a role in this by listening to our own hearts firstly and each other secondly.
We will have different roles so we may not always agree - but we will need each other like never before in the times ahead.
Americans need to cooperate locally to secure their neighbourhoods - just in case.
