there is an easyer way but longer, put sometihng in the air in the posistion u want it in but don't let go, the save the map the object will drop ignore it, after u save the map don't move, load the map up again and it should be the posistion u left it in

The reason you can't find it is because it doesn't exist. If you step on a crate with nothing under it it will fall to the ground and always respawn falling.

instead of putting single crates in the spaces between barriers, put turrets. It'll raise the defense and offense of your base. :)

You could stack that WAY higher then use it as landing platforms for hornets/banshees. Personally I would use bridge pieces instead of boxes. You could put flag spots up there or a terretory.

its much easier if you have a buddy (live or second controller) to hold it up, and if u make the nodes upsidown it makes a "flatter" sureface and the crates wont fall accidentally

u can make a higher base if u just use a reciever node way up in the sky/ then while still holding it just pause save then end game/ start again go back to wear u had it and its floating/ then put a crate on it/ make more and more/ huge floating base :o/ also put a tele to get up there :)

i made a floating base on an elephant :P that owns face! and if you place a port wich works on that base, near the 4!!!! towers, that elephant...if u than place a port to it somewhere else, and than play something like jaggernaut or infection, jsut try something of the other games, that elephant is gone and the items float somewhere in the level on the HIGHEST spot...what i try to say is, i got a base now floating on the highest top of the level :P pretty long stoy...jsut got 0 words left lol!!

a little tip u put regular reciever nodes on the crates use a sender itll shave off alot o time since its bigger

Dude, That Takes WAY To long, just hold a teleporter in the air save the map end it and come bak and the teleporter will be where u held it put a box on it and bam ur done. my gamertag is : Faulkner18

Also a realy annoying thing that happened to me, I deleted my landing pad. It was a floating base kindof but with a space in it for a hornet to land. It was constructed atop one of the points and 7 crates high. will make again and show, along with my ultimate sniping spot.

HEY PEOPLE there is a easier way to make things float just hold anything in a position you want pause, save map, and quit and re-enter and it should be floating. Only on problem when i did this once i wasn't able to delete the box that i floated so becareful.

you dont have to do it that like in the video that way is cool but heres a better way. just when u want to make a floating base put somthing under it like a crate and then, like in the video if u want the base to be made out of ctates but more crates on top of the other ones and then delete the crates that are touching the floor and the crates above will float in the air. this saves time and saves money so you dont have buy the teleporters. try it out if u guys want its very helpful

You can also try using other objects than crates. Crates are good to learn on but you can make much sweeter bases if you include other objects.
