  • Yes, one leg up is OK. You must listen to your body, invent variations that work better for you, then you are on the right track.

Good luck with your stretches, but also remember to use the floor when you can instead of chairs.

  • Got a sore lower back for a few days trying the feet up the wall.

Found that I was using lower back to lift the weight of legs etc up.

Is the stretch as effective with one leg up the wall?

Poistioned at wall corner, with other leg foot flat on floor.

    Cheers

  • Such a good video- something most people don't think about. If you are lucky enough to have a job where you can stand (with regular movement) more than sit: pharmacist, waiter, retail clerk,, how much better off you are. Also, I have always been drawn to sitting on the floor, eschewing chairs. in my fifties, I remain remarkably flexible, with quick reflexes.

  • Appreciate ur hard work :)

  • Great videoo, this is interesting, I am not chairbound at all, im flexible:)

  • @TCKikeeElectro

Good for you TCKee. Pass on the information. So many people don't know that they are chairbound.

  • what the fuck? i just pulled my hamstring yesterday yestersday and this video pops up in my inbox today? freeaakkyy

  • learnt something new...wow

  • OK joonox, now you know, you can start doing something about it.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this video, Juliette. I never realized how "chairbound" I am until I saw this video.

  • thank you- it's entirely true that many of us spend way to much time sitting not only during our work but in general...I believe moving/changing positions while sitting is important as well as retaining good posture, in my experience.
