I think StarWing / Starfox could have been a great film if the right enthusiasts could unfold,with today's 3D applications. Would have been desirable that the next game is a little more away from the children feel, without making it to the cynical and bloody. I guess next game will be made to the Wii 2. Time will tell... Hope there will be more characters I can choose in the next game. A deeper story. And last but not least-a newer and better mother ships you can fly even at different occasions.

Actually the folks who made star fox straight up told nintendo that they don't like the Wii, and refused to make a star fox game for Wii because of it.

They'll still make 'em for DS, and hopefully DSi, as they've shown with Command, but They've already said there's nothing happening for the Wii.

that aside, the idea or restarting starfox from the begining could probably be done quite well, assuming the people chosen to do it have the proper respect for the original concepts. (IE: don't just clone it, but don't abandon what made it great either.)
