There are hell a lot of lookers with artificially enhanced (if not created) voices for daydreaming teenage boys...

Her voice was beautiful here. I also wonder how she wasn't discovered years earlier. She is a natural, and with no vocal lessons or coaching. We are so lucky that she entered the BGT contest and is now able to make us all so happy listening to her extraordinary voice.

Not a waste, sometimes things do get better with ageing. The voice on BGT is a more powerful one and very different to this one. Besides she has troden the boards and that gives her a more profesional edge than those try to fast track them selves.
Susan had this talent early in her but somehow was never discovered until today. It goes to show you that we all have a path that leads us to where we are supposed to be. We all have lessons to be learn and when the time is right our dreams will come true because we are now ready for it. So take heart all the dreamers out there....where this life there is always hope.

The true tribute to her talent and ability to capture an audience is demonstrated in the first few seconds when all the crowd chatter ceases as she starts to sing. It takes something extraordinary to do that.

Consider that, yes she went "undiscovered" but realize that 1) not everyone who pursues their talents are welcomed by the world at the time (or ever) 2) her time was her time, and her discovery was that much more amazing as she came from nowhere. That her story.

A few years ago two parents went out to dinner a few hours later the babysitter called and asked if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids room. The dad said "get the kids out of the house and we'll call the police. We don't have a clown statue." the clown was actually a killer that escaped from prison 10 years ago. You know, if she had been "discovered" at, say, age 22, she might have had a nice little career, and then faded slowly away ... but fate said "not yet", and her "balloon" kept filling, and filling, and then - when the time was "just right", it burst upon the world, and aren't we the lucky ones!!!
