So here is my question:

Is this NO pick good at 6?  Big money has obviously already come in on NO so will there be any later action on SF to bring it down? And even so, will this number probably hover around 6, because I doubt it would get bought down to 5 or 4 1/2

So the line opened at 4 1/2 in what Bill Simmons calls "The Vegas Zone" and heavy money came in on NO. As someone who was @ Qwest Field when the Seahawks destroyed the 49ers, I can take away three things:

1) The Hawks got lucky for the most part as tip ball TAINTs like that are total chance

2) Alex Smith is a joke and could very well be joining the Matt Leinart club by Week 6

3) Qwest Field was rocking and that was probably screwing with SF big time.

Heady point RJ. It's almost as if everyone is sleeping on the Saints because all they did was win the Superbowl?

Its a big line but I love the extra rest the Saints are getting on a 49ers team that seems to have some communication issues between coaching staff and QB.
