@moorejr1400 for one, i have yet to experience this in my own surroundings. and my point was, only the most devout woman will do that. and they are a small minority. in the middle ages in western europe the monastary had great respect and relatively many chose a life devoted to faith because of that. in the current age, there is no such system of status, so only very few men and women choose a life in the church. this is comparable to the number of people who convert to the islam out of faith.

Strange enough many western muslim women converts WANT TO WEAR NIQAB. (mind you. they used to go on beaches in thongs,etc). You have modesty verses in quran 24:30. Oops that is one for men! YES THEY HAVE TO COVER TOO! HERE IS THE FEMALE ONE 24:31. And there are ferences in hadith where women VOLUNTARILY COVERED THEIR FACES after hearing these verses.

This is an example of exactly what Hans brings to comedy.
Hans communicates this idea eloquently in English (while getting some great laughs), and very succinctly. The fact English is his second language is in no way holding him back from making some of the best and most thought provoking comedy of the last few years.
I hope he continues to perform in English, as he is clearly very good at it, and he would reach a much larger audience which he rightly deserves.

@moorejr1400 for one, i have yet to experience this in my own surroundings. and my point was, only the most devout woman will do that. and they are a small minority. in the middle ages in western europe the monastary had great respect and relatively many chose a life devoted to faith because of that. in the current age, there is no such system of status, so only very few men and women choose a life in the church. this is comparable to the number of people who convert to the islam out of faith.

This is an example of exactly what Hans brings to comedy.
Hans communicates this idea eloquently in English (while getting some great laughs), and very succinctly. The fact English is his second language is in no way holding him back from making some of the best and most thought provoking comedy of the last few years.
I hope he continues to perform in English, as he is clearly very good at it, and he would reach a much larger audience which he rightly deserves.
