  • You go through a lot of tomatoes because you're throwing it all away! The middle's the best part!

  • @iPezzei If you're cutting out the best part of the tomato, you're doing it all wrong!

  • why should you core a tomato? u just want to eat the peel?

  • intro: show tits

  • She quite clearly states the uses for the left over scraps...it does not get wasted -.-

  • YouTube is amazing.

  • 0:01 Show Tits lol

  • Why so much antagonism guys? Tomato seeds don't belong in a lot of recipes. For example, when I'm making a sandwich, I get rid of the core as I don't want a sopping wet sandwich. The seeds are also too bitter for some applications. If you think this is a waste, you should go see how much quality food restaurants actually bin on a regular basis.

Very cool tip btw. I used to always chop them in half and use a spoon to get the seeds out.

  • chow tits

  • "And then cut off all four sides".

    *Cuts off three sides*

  • Waste of food..... :-(

  • In most restaurants presentation is one of, if not the most important aspect of a dish. Sadly, the cores are too unevenly shaped and colored to be good enough for presentation purposes. If you were making a tomato sause, you would not want the seeds, and this would be a quick way of getting them out into the open for removal. However, not a single part of the tomato, if the tomato is of good quality, is unusable enough to be thrown away.

  • no wonder you use lots of tomatoes in your stupid ass restaurant.

  • people like you are the reason we have world hunger...

  • r u insane?

  • I can imagine people not going to her restaurant after watching this and that pepper video. The core is the best part !

  • I think the lady made a mistake, it's not a red pepper miss, it's a Tomato

  • lazy mans concasse

  • I suppose you can overcharge in your restaurant and not care but I put way too much effort into growing my tomatoes to waste so much. Probably don't pay your waiters/waitresses enough to depict an honest price on your menu either huh?

  • it's tomato, not tomato! get it right!

  • put the tomato down and make me a sandwich

  • this is stupid

  • Viola, you now have 1/4 of a tomato.

  • @brianwurst1234

    LMAO NICE ONE XDD

  • @brianwurst1234 only if u throw the rest out. durr she showed us to separate em. not to just use 1 part

  • Omg you're so funny

  • @Harpiieboy Thanks! I watched many Eddie Murphy movies as a child.

  • i just used a spoon and scoop out the seeds.. as the core is edible.. o-O its not hard..

  • Wasted.

  • I know, she IS wasteful, isn't she?. Especially after she said all the extra bits could be used for stock or sauce.

  • Yeah, and the core is basically the biggest part of the tomato. All she has left is the skin on the tomato...

  • She is making a specific choice when she uses those areas of the fruit. She's controlling the quality of her dishes when she decides to core her tomatoes.

If you want to actually appreciate food, accept the fact that there are many ways to do something. Restricting yourself in any way narrows the variety of what you create.

That's the true waste - not this chef's tomato cores...

  • why core them? the middles by far the best part.

  • its not like your going to throw the core away.

  • i didn't suggest they throw them away or think that they did, just questioned why. ( the middle is the best bit :) )

  • @tehbluething pay attention dipshit. for Salsa. If you want the core in your salsa you like some watery ass salsa.

  • @arichards518 wow, your cock, congratz.

  • @tehbluething you are the first person to say that to me.

  • @tehbluething but by some types of dishes you need tomato without core and you can use the core for tomato sauce for instance ?

  • @tehbluething agree! those are the juichiest parts

  • @afcaj0od Yah but in alot of preparations you don't want the moisture.

  • @tehbluething not in salsa

  • @tehbluething true but only the hard bit a the top needs to go imho

  • @tehbluething the seeds and the membranes are the parts which get very sour when cooked, by coring them you can get a "sweeter" sauce or salsa.

  • @tehbluething if you want to use the tomato in a recipe without a lot of extra water, for example to make a sauce.

  • Cut it on all the four sides.

The one to roll is stupid.

  • how else would u do it? lol

  • O_0 I like cores lol but this is a more original way

  • gah you guys be flooding my subscriptions, thats why you can't get any more subs! stop it! D:
