Great footage!! You don't run that Labrie split MSL any more? What's the chassis on this truck? How many tons was that too?

@Trashman242 No longer use the split body. Cab is a Mack LEU and in the last part of the video i would guess there was about 12 tons

@nokia3750 same hopper design for as long as I recall-and that is almost 15 years! The blade looks a little different though-the garbage has an opportunity to go for a ride on the edge of the blade before it is gone for good!

Do you guys collect bulk(doors, couches, etc) with da trash in those Front Loaders or do you depend on Rear Load or grapple service for special pick up ?

@trashking900 yeah people don't recycle as much as they should including myself. As for the packer i have to push a button in the cab everytime to run it. There is a manual extend'retract switch but thats mainly for dumping

@internationalRLfan I am one of two trash trucks in this town so between the two of us we usually make it on one load. Tuesdays are our biggest day of the week and sometimes one of us would run to dump and come back out but its rare. BTW 2012 is the other truck. lol

@NYMegaMan lol here in northern va monday and tuesday are the heavy days because after the weekend its more trash. but when they return on thursday and friday its not nearly as much so they make it on one load on thursday and friday and usually 2 on monday nad tuesday. so hours are cut by like 3-4 hours
