  • You say "resource" weird. Re-zorce.

  • Reminds me alot about Magic the Gathering. I will soon be getting a wow deck so any suggestions for what deck i should get? Like, i was thinking a clas started is that qhat i should get? Thanks.

  • wow it's some how similiar to magic the gathering (or maybe not i'm kinda new with tcg).. is there any competitive play with wow tcg? and how do you win in this game? does each player have life? btw cool video i got interested after watching this..

  • @utamaputranto Please feel free to view a few more of my vids as your questions are answ

ered in quite a few of them, thanks for watching

  • thx

  • I hope you can help me on this:

I bought a warlock starter deck, and some abilities say something like "your HERO does X damage to Y" I wonder, that kind of damage is considered like a ranged attack o I get hit by my target`s defense?? It would really help me to know the answer

  • @KennedY3X Hi there, Can you give me an example of a card? "X" is usually = to the amount of resources you exhaust and "Y" would be the opponents card that you are attacking. Example you attack with your HERO and exhaust 5 resources now you HERO has ATK 5 (it will do 5 damage to the card that you are attacking("Y"))

  • @Boardgamereview For example, I have "Shadow Bolt" and in the description it says "Your hero deals 3 shadow damage to target hero or ally" and lets say that Im using it against Zi´mo, an ally with 4 frost attack and 3 of life. That ally should to die with my shadow volt, but my question is: Do my hero receives 4 frost damage after using my ability? thxs for your time

  • Thanks for the videos mate, they really helped out! :D

  • Ty, got 2 decks today so I had to learn how to play :)

  • @neoncolours05 Just made a game play video yesterday, I will post it on Thursday, thanks for watching

  • when you mulligan dont you deal yourself a card less? thats how it works in MAGIC is this the same?

  • @renefidel When you muligan... you will deal yourself 7 cards again

  • @Boardgamereview TY for the info :)

  • thanks that vid helped a lot

  • can 1 ally or hero can have more of the same ongoing ability atached, i meen i have a card 'atach to a hero and deal 4 damage to it " can i put two of them on my opponent hero so it deels 8 damage each turn.?

  • @nbombadil Yes, you can stack Abilities, Take a look at my rogue deck in one of my previous vids, It is designed to stack abilities on the opponents Hero and do damage each turn with poison

  • very nice and helpfull video's

  • hey like in the game yugioh you can only have 5 cars thats are mentioned spell and trap is there a limit on how many rescorces you can have and the same goes for allies

  • i am so happy that i finally learned how to play dis game thnx dude and epic video :3 <3

  • Thanks a million, only took me about 7 months to find decent tutorial videos!

Very much appreciate you taking the time to make these videos, very helpful!

  • @DavidHarvison Thanks a million for watching these vids, I hope you enjoy the game

  • @Boardgamereview sure do haha, only have 1 friend that plays, facebooked it earlier this morning for people playing in my city and there's a comp on Saturday, better get my chops up :)

  • Awesome explanation man! Im going to get some WoW cards now!

  • in wich row is goes your "normal" ability and how do you play instants ability's thats what i dont get.

  • @nbombadil One shot abilities are only used once so once they are used they go in the "discard" pile, "ongoing" abilities will either go in the middle row or they if they are "attached" to a hero or ally go either under or on top of the hero or ally that it is attached to.

  • I have one Question regarding the Holy mark on the left bottom corner the yellow cross, i used to think that holy only can heal , and they aren't damage dealers so for example a paladin with that holy mark 4 / means he does 4 holy damage and not 4 healing to an ally or hero?

  • Want to play WoW the trading card game online? Go to gamesiplay(dot)com/wowtcg! :) It's pritty decent and good for people like me who have no1 to play 0.0

  • Thank you so much i love these videos i have been collecting these cards and havent really known how to play now i do and me and my friends play and i love it !!!!! please keep up making videos and have like some witch your favorite cards and tactics you like to use!

  • @rammstine007 Thanks for watching! It's always nice to hear that my vids have turned a collector into a player. I hope to keep putting out new vids, if you watch my latest vid you can have a look at my current favorite deck and cards for that deck

  • i wish i could understand this but i cant cuz im deaf..im only able to understand if there have subtitles

  • @WrestlingStrike what would you like to know, I will try to help you out

  • @Boardgamereview everything haha..im new to this..

i will figure how it play but i just want know how many i need cards in deck and is there have modified legal rotation just like pokemon tcg and how do i know if card are rare, uncommon, common?

last night i bought first pack is war of the elements worldbreaker.

  • @WrestlingStrike A minimum of 60 cards per deck, there is a Tournament "Core" Rotation, you can tell if the card is Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary by looking at the bottom of the card, there is text describing the "set" that the card belongs to.... the color of that text indicates the rarity of the card

    Common = white

    Uncommon = green

    Rare = Blue

    Epic = Purple

Legendary (Loot Card) = orange (also has a scratchable foil bar on the card)

  • @Boardgamereview oh now i see :) which do you prefer core or unlimited rotatiton? and most of common tournament is core or unlimited?

  • @WrestlingStrike I prefer Classic (Unlimited) because it allows me to use all of my cards if I want, I don't want to be forced into buying new cards just so I can play in sanctioned events. Tournament play is almost always core to encourage buying more cards

  • @Boardgamereview thanks! thats all i need to know :) thanks for helping!

  • thank you so much i need this tutorial! +1 on this vid!!

  • @mysterylaughable Glad it helped, thanks for the comment

  • finaly i found a vid on how to play this game... i have alot of cards and not knowing how to play

  • :D great video helps alot but can u have two allie's in the bg at the sme time

  • :D great video helps alot

  • this is such a remake of magic the gathering...it is like the same exact thing

  • Still reckon Yu-Gi-Oh was the best card game

  • @Moltentank are you kidding me MAGIC THE GATHERING WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST!!!!!!!

  • you should do a vid of you actually playing

  • i got questions 1)what does it mean to exaughst 2)besides being exaughted for attacks and abilities etc what can resources do 3)whats the minimim amount of cards tht canbe used in a battle 4)is there like an online version of the tcg gamw (i dont mean the mmo) cuz i dont know anyone who plays wow or tc and it wul be cool to play online with other ppl since i cant find anyone to play with sorry its too long

  • I have a question: wen an aly or hero attacks an hero buth he isn't destroyed does he keeps the damage on him or does he reagin his standart health on the next turn ?

  • @rogeke1o6 If the card wasn't destroyed the damage that it did suffer stays on the card

  • @Boardgamereview ok thx mate you helped mee a lot ^^

  • @rogeke1o6 no problem glad I could help

  • The combat confuses me do we pick were the DMg goes or do we just attack and they pick blockers?( just got 1st deck)

  • @devideby0andwin As the attacker YOU pick the target (DEFENDER) that is the card that will take the damage, the defender does not pick who will defend. However if you have declared an attack on one of your opponents Allies and your opponent has a second Ally in play that has the "DEFENDER" power then they can use that card to interviene and fight the original attacker in place of your selected target

  • ok ty but what deck should i buy? not for big pros i know the basics and playing with friends:)

  • @Enciuhoria I like the Rogue, Death Knight and Warrior decks from the 2011 Class Starter Decks

  • another question if i am from eu where can i command some playing cards and not so pro card and they can enter in the price of maximum 30 euro?:)

  • @Enciuhoria I think you are asking me whee you can buy cards in Europe for less than 30 Euro, I would try online or Ebay, as I live in Canada I am not familiar with the TCG market in Europe, you should take a look at my other vid "World of Warcraft TCG Tutorial Where to Get it"

  • So, I have a question.. where do i place aly protector cards?:)

  • @Enciuhoria Protectors ARE Allies, therefore they would go in the Ally row

    Thanks for the question

  • I was wondering can you mix cards from all expansions ... I have never had a chance to play an card games like this, and well just don't have anyone to play with but I bought about 3 booster boxes in the past just for fun, cus I enjoy wow that much.

  • @Jackster006 Yes you can however if you play in tournaments they only allow you to play with certain BLOCKS of cards ... meaning you deck must contain cards from the last 5 of so sets ( not sure which sets exactly ) but if you just want to play with you buds for fun you can mix cards from any set..... except some of the cards in raid decks, they a simply too powerful for regular play

  • @Boardgamereview awesome thanks for the info. now if I just had someone to play it with >.>

  • Are you planning on going over raid decks?

  • I have a couple of questions... When you tap an ally to attack your opponent and it deals x damage. Now on your opponents turn his ally attacks you can you defend with the tap ally you used on your turn? Or does the ally have to be untapped? Like in Magic after your opponents turn does the damage on your ally get healed or do you have to play certain cards to heal your ally?

  • @nightgoblinshaman The defender does not "Tap" only the attacker does, this signifies that the attacker has used that ally and it can't be used again on this turn (unless another card the attacker plays allows him to "Ready" it).

I hope I explained this clearly

  • Reminds me... a LOT of M:TG.

  • @bobmuffins It is alot like MTG without the "Mana Screw" as it has been kindly refered to as

  • I have been playing Wow for a while, and just for fun, I just wanted to watch a good tutorial. This is very well done.

    AmDrag

  • I have 2 questions. If you attack and kill an ally does his damage come back at you and does abilities also count towards allies?

  • @Brayd3nG Whenever you attack an ally, you deal damage equal to the attack of the attacking character, and that ally would deal damage to it equal to it's a attack. However, if you hit somebody with an ability, e.g., Wrath, then you don't get damage dealt back to you. Hope this helped.

    AmDrag

  • @TheAmericanDragn Thanks that did help. But what if the hero doesnt have a weapon and an opposing ally attacks him. Can he attack back or notÉ And also can you use abilities towards allysÉ or just heroesÉ And does it cost resources to attack with an allyÉ And do you have to clear out the opposing allys to be able to attack their hero or can u just attack it wheneverÉ Sorry i have so much questions but I just started playing WoW TCG and its a little confusing.

  • @Brayd3nG If a character attacks a hero without a weapon, the attacker does NOT take any damage back. It does not cost resources to attack with an allly.

    AmDrag

  • @TheAmericanDragn Can abilities be used with allys and do you have to clear out all allys to be able to attack a hero? Also how come heroes must pay resources to attack with some weapons but allies can just do it for free? And what can I all do in a turn like can I put down a resource, set down an ally, and attack with more than one ally in one turnÉ

  • @TheAmericanDragn Also what if you attack an opposing exhausted ally, can he attack you backÉ

  • @Brayd3nG Yes.

    AmDrag

  • @Brayd3nG You Hero can not Initiate an attack nor can it attack in defence if it does't have a weapon.

If you Hero is being attacked and that Hero does not have a weapon, he is a sitting duck and cannot attack back

  • @Brayd3nG (Assuming no special abilities, or Armor in the case of a Hero)

    1) You will deal damage equal to the attack value your attacking Ally or Hero, then your opponent defends by attacking you back and he will deal damage equal to the attack value of the Ally or Hero that is defending, if in this process one of the players deals enough damage to eliminate an opposing ally, that Ally goes to the graveyard and the remaining Ally still accepts the damage that was dealt to him

  • @Brayd3nG

    2) Abilities can be used on Allies as well as Heros, Some cards are very specific and will indicate in the text on the card if you can only attack Hero's or Allies with that particular ability

  • Thankk you so much .!! :3 this was super helpful ^___^ .!

  • @LaaLaSunshine

Thanks, I found a ton of vids about the game and the cards but nothing that explained actually "How to Play" I hope this vid filled that gap

    Thanks again for the comment

  • @TheWolfsWrau Your welcome, I hope you enjoy playing the game
