There's this documentary called "Under my skin" It's about Lyme disease and there's a doctor who discovered that there's a connection between the Borrelia bacteria, MS, and Alzheimer's. 8 out of 10 brains who had Alzheimer's were test positive for the bacteria and they talked about MS in the same fashion. I thought it was a pretty interesting. My heart goes out to you though. Truly.
I've had it forever too, except longer. I got to the place where I could not walk no matter what about 11 years ago. Now I'm to the place where I can't even be up in my wheelchair because my muscles have become so weak that I can't sit up and I end up slumping over and being unable to breathe. Thank god for high tech! I can still say my piece even though what I say ecchos into the emptiness and no one cares. MS is stupid, but life is still great.
I care!! Even tho it DID take me FOREVER 2 reply!!! I just got home from PT rehab, so now I can walk better and get my legs 2 bend. I know the outcome of this crap can b quiet grim!! U r very strong!!
'stupid ms!'..i love your style! maybe you could write a book! you're a beautiful soul..ms is not taking away your shine. im really inspired..i have to do the stick thing at moment. there was this long haired rocker type in the store the other day and he had shades, bandana and this amazing cane with a silver skull thing on top. i felt at one with the world for a second. let's just keep managing this... we are pretty special x
Wow, thanks!! I had a cool cane 2...not as cool as the skull tho. Now it walkers 4 me...and they r hard 2 make cool :P I have my really down moments, but ya gotta keep going don't ya!?!!
Hiya. I think I have progressive, although I have only officially had MS for a year (I think 10). I have found going natural has helped with having more good days...I stray and start putting in the meats, coffee, dairy and/or excessive booze I am back on the MS boat (I feel like I am on choppy waters...literally). I hope more good days swing by your way. Kylie

I also have MS and have the balance problems. I have fallen and I wasn't even walking. I was just standing making the bed and down I went. If I fall I can't get up case my legs won't help me lift my self. People make fun of me at work that I walk like a drunck. They don't know I have MS. I am thinking about going on disability cause I can't walk good. MS SUCKS!!!!!

I know M,S stands for mega sucks!!I understand and feel for you I have secondary [progressive mS too and balance is an issue for me too ....walk with wlkibg stick and use my chair too hate the frame too and I resist having to use one
