  • Such an Amazing Women!!!!

  • Sorry that was Brighton...!

  • I think the IRA may have put a dampener on things later on!

  • Think the IRAmay

  • Urgh.....slimey Major gives me the shivers at 3:57

  • I lost a lot under the 13 crap years of blair and brown and even now still getting back on my feet but im proud of what mrs t did for this country shame i was to young to vote for her a truly amazing woman

  • I wonder how Disraeli would respond to this. Or Churchill, who spent most of his time fighting the party leadership.

The Conservative party always seems to be the bunch willing to take the wilder risks.

  • She thoroughly deserved that applause and reception. A remarkable woman

  • If youtube is going to keep making changes why don't they make a Love, Like, and don't like button? This would be LOVE!!

  • I have never seen such a sincre outpouring of love and support for anyone, and rightfully so. The Conservative party was nothing before Maggie Thatcher.

  • @american2015 Totally agree - and it's been nothing since her either!!!. Outstanding woman, said what she meant and meant what she said. Totally different to the snivelling snakes in the grass that replaced her - on both sides of the house!.

  • It's is scarily Stalinist but... ooh look new titles!

  • @tdp1909 the difference being that stalin had no opposition and no freedom. the people in that hall were not forced in any way

  • Margaret lookes quite bemused at the length of the ovation she got. I reckon that is in keeping with her personality. Enough showmanship - now lets just get on with it! :D

  • Just like in Stalinist Russia, where the ovations went to absurd lengths and none of the higher ranking party members were game to stop applauding before everyone else. There is an unpleasant ideological "unthought" demonstrated here.

  • @jlandles Either that, or they just really liked Lady Thatcher. Logic would suggest the latter assumption, as no one forced the crowd to be there and nor were they forced to applaud.

  • Damn I just used up this months download allowance watching that ovation.

  • What a wonderful show of love to Maggie! So critical she was in defeating socialism at home and abroad but putting the great back into Great Britain. As Dame Jill Knight once said; a thousand years from now when everyone else is dead dust she alone will have her hallowed name in the history books.

  • @fair66115 something still tells me we need an egalitarian society, for that is the cusp of human civilization.
