  • flashbaaaaaaaaaaaaacks

  • Fella's fella's. On my copy of Cure for Sanity I have this version. It's a hidden track. Yeah it isn't as good as the original but it's still one of there best songs!!

  • I have this song on "16 Different Flavours of Hell" BMG 1993 slightly different mix but a crisper version. of the "Wake up its Time to Die" is best track on the album, i believe Dance of the Mad and XY & Z are close behind . BIG UP DEFX39 for posting this!!

  • wats da album called?

    sick song

  • jameskarate1, Are you retarded? You have access to the internet, google it you muppet!!

  • Cure for Sanity.

  • the poppies, neds, carter, the stuffees, mega city four - bands that defined early indie - great to hear again!

  • Dope track!!!!

  • The album version of this song has its own quality, and this version does as well. I have both, and they are equally great in their own way. Love the 'Easy rider' guitar sample.

  • EMF released Unbelievable there first single in 1990, the same time PWEI released Cure for Sanity, to suggest that they changed there sound and created a whole album to some how cash in on EMF's SINGLE.. is pretty ridiculous.. I bought Cure for sanity the week it was released ( IMPORT) i had listened to the whole thing.. to me it was EMF who were cashing in.. not the other way around... when i heard "Unbelievable" i thought... "Hey the sound like the Poppies!!"

  • How fucking great was Cure for sanity. Not much compares to its brilliance.

  • emf singer had a wussy voice.

  • The Poppies just rule.cheers for the vid.

  • I know what I'm talking about, they sound nothing like this on their albums, and even the album version of this song sounded very different. This was obviously reproduced to sound more commercial.

  • @wgaule Do you have any idea how many different mixes there are of this track? What you don't know could fill a book.

  • @wgaule i noticed it did sound a little bit different too.

  • This is when they started to sound like EMF

  • I agree with wgaule

The CD version of Cure For Sanity is ruined by the version of this song

  • This is VERY similar to the album version and nothing like EMF who were manufactured pop pap. Don't talk like a twat. And as regards to your comment below....no, you don't know what you're talking about. Pwei and commercialism???????? I think not.

  • pop WILL eat itself

  • I thinjk it has. they were right!

  • how dare you

  • 10CC's best album!

  • I've got a limited edition red vinyl 12 inch of this if anyone wants to buy it?

  • how much?

  • make me an offer.

  • Dance of the mad bastards from Cure for Sanity was one of their finest kick arse moment. What a sound...

  • the poppies were and still are quality, just cos their songs vary so much in style!

  • Turn it up loud and dance baby. As good today as it ever was, kinda makes me wish I never grew up and got responsible. Eezer good eezer good, he`s Ebeneezer good............

  • No disrespect to PWEI or this song, but the lead singer reminds me of John Oliver from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I think it's his accent.

Love this song to death, though. Great stuff...coming from somebody completely sober.

  • I love the poppies, great to the videos again.

They were amazing live, I saw them at the Newport centre in 1993 or was it 92. Was all a bit of a blur then, happy days.

  • PWEI were so damn good, takes me back to some insane gigs at the Marquee and the Brixton Academy in the early 90s. They were good on record, but out of this world live. And they never got the credit they deserved. More Poppies please...

  • Wow, great rave hymn, I really loved this track and still do... back to the best times of the early nineties!

  • back to the days of 3day acid binges, never did understand the 80s or pwei.............

  • hey guys! QUALITY!

their best is still 'BULLETPROOF' !!!!

i love these boys, great times! Stuffies & PWEI what can you say? JUST class!

this song reminds me of sitting about my mate's room with scrumpy jack cider and having a ball until the sun came up!!!!!!!!!!! fantastic!

  • good choice in song and bands wonder stuff is a amazing band

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!

Takes me back to all them weird girls and the so called GCSE's,what the hell were they, was too drunk to remember!!!

  • Tragically underated band, not sure my fave eva poppies song. If i had to choose Wise up Sucker.

  • word

  • "No pop, no style" you're going to have to go through a slew of google results for that one. The guitar riff is quite obvious though, it's lifted from Steppenwolf - "The Pusher". I like "X,Y and Zee", but when it orignally came out, right on the heels of "This is the Day...", it was too much of a departure and it put me off PWEI unfortunately, but what did I know eh?

  • The sample "NO POP, NO STYLE" comes from an old reggae song... can anyone identify it for me?

  • Yeah, it's from Althea & Donna's 'Up Town Top Ranking'

  • Thanks, garyjamesnolan!

  • Na pop na style

    I strickly roots

See mi pon di road I hear ya call out to mi

True yuh see mi in mi pant an ting

See mi in mi 'alter back

Say mi gi' ye heart attack

Gimme likkle bass, mek mi wine up mi waist

    Uptown top ranking

  • weird song, I like it!

  • One of my favorite PWEI songs. Thanks!

  • Thanks man, I've been looking for this clip for a long time.
