Hardy's pretty fuckin brilliant. He surpasses Russell Crowe in his ability to modify himself for the role he's playing. As Handsome Bob he looked sexy and chic , as Bronson he looked rough and brutish. His physical transformations are really where he gains my respect. Character actors seem less willing to transform themselves physically and he's got the same aptitude as Christian Bale in that department. However, he's more charasmatic: "You dont go on stage to eat, you go to be eaten."
