Hey there 1/2asheep, nice coin brutha. I too have one Canadian Palladium Maple Leaf just like that one, but plaqued. I love it. I'd love it less if it were one of say 50; it gets lots of attention as an only child.
@SGTbull07 Hi SGT, the man with the smick Ag vids. Please check out my Occult Sydney series. It will hopefully provide some food for thought. More episodes to come. BTW, Pd has been a real performer for 2010. Better than Ag and Au thus far.
I beleive by cutting off the original plasitc wrapping of th Canadian palladium maple, you decreased the numismatic value of the coin when you plan to resell.
palladium is 30x rarer than gold yet its 1/3 the price, platinum is 60x rarer than gold and only a couple hundred dollars more than gold. should be 10x as much as gold $14,000/oz
yes platinum is rare but it isent used that much is jewerly it looks like silver and pallidium is used in industry the same way as platinum so theres no point of buying even if it is rare
@beswick1111 Thats because (no matter WHO says different) Gold is money. It has always been money and always will be. Platinum and Palladium are true commodities. We were forced to view Gold as a commodity but in truth it is the true world currency.
Very pretty! But then, the whole Maple line is, isn't it?
Palladium is an interesting metal. It's appreciating very nicely, of late, relative to gold, for example. However, I don't think it would make a reliable "crisis currency," given the lack of familiarity most folks would have with it. Have to see where the world takes us. For myself, I like silver just fine, with a little gold for the shine. =^[.]^=
they are worth the dam same take em and play with them.

Palladium is like silver, but a silver that's on anabolic steroids. I like platinum too though.

@ykltc I have purchased some proper capsules for my 6x 1 oz pd maples. I'm planning to cut out the other 5 coins and encapsulate them!.

I'm in love with palladium. I have 27 ounces now, but all in bars. I'll have to get a maple; that is a gorgeous coin.

@beswick1111 If thats the case, silver should be worth $500 more than gold because silver is also rarer than gold!!!!
