As an aspiring wrestler and diehard fan of the technical style it just simply does not get any better than watching Regal and Danielson tear it up. It's a shame Regal doesn't fit the mould of what WWE considers to be main eventers, I think Regal could have been a tremendous World Champ if only he had been booked better.

Regal was a trainer of some of the most outstanding wrestlers in the world today, including Samoa Joe and his opponent in this video, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson.

In fact, Regal said that training Danielson was the greatest accomplishment of his entire career. Danielson is THE best technical wrestler in the world, and some of the credit should go to Regal.

I read that regal wanted a title shot on smackdown in Liverpool and all he got was a match on superstars! Not only regal got robbed but the fans got robbed of a good main event match. Being English I personaly would have loved to have seen Regal and main event smackdown instead of henry or orton. Still good match from both guys and good sportsmanship at the end from Bryan.

@monstahz I would say that sounds uncharacteristic of Regal, who seems to do very well in the role he has now and is savvy enough to know that you can have a match important to you w/o a title shot stipulation. I'm sure having a main event on SS with a worker like Bryan and getting to play the face role was good enough for him.
