I can just picture Aerith turning around, smiling, and saying "You see? Everything's...alright." Like she did in Advent Children.
Everytime I hear this I get goosebumps. I feel the tears welling up, not only because she was my favorite character, but it reminds me of my childhood. Who doesn't remember her flirting with Cloud when she could? Or their date at the Gold Saucer? Or when she would smile and say everything's okay? It was so hard to believe she really died, and wouldn't ever return...
@IHasACarrot I dont think this song is to make you sad for what happend to her, but to be happy for the sacrifice she made for the planet. She KNEW she was going to die, and still went to summon holy. Its amazing shes not even real and this music makes her feel like shes in my heart. We can all learn from Aerith. We are all part of something so much bigger than ourselves.
This masterpiece brings anyone to tears. I remember playing FFVII back in the day and when Aeres died everyone in the livingroom froze and teared up. That shows you the power of this song.
@deadpisser88 Why man tears? Can't men do anything without it having to be "man version." Are we THAT insecure??? I cried at the death scene, and they were tears, real, honest tears. No need to say "man" version of anything in my opinion. :-)
When playing a game, that is, really playing a game with the appreciation of its intended nature (telling a story and developing characters etc.) rather than just going to a level, killing shit, and moving on, this game I think would make most people cry. If they were honestly playing it as the story it intends to tell that is.
@deadpisser88 I see. Well, no harm done. lol It is always hard to assertain what people really mean when using nothing but the words they type, or lack thereof.
It's a shame most people think of video games that way. I honestly played Final Fantasy for the stories. The fighting was only a small part of it. I also cried when Aerith died.
In my mind if having no feelings and being violent means that you are a man, i would rather stay a boy!

@chocochris07 No, really as in you took my comment seriously when I included "man" to tears. It was meant to be humorous if anything, not serious.
