  • what is this talk about ibadan state eneough about slitting yoruba tribe..you already have the capital of oyo..ibadan coulnd not stop the fulani eroding yoruba land, cause we were busy figting / each other for gun powder tru slave trade..

  • Asking for ibadan state is like asking for abeokuta state or jos state or its not gonna happen the profligations of states in nigeria withouth the requisite source of income to run it is what is hampering development in nigeria with it overbloated bureaucracy and institutionalised corruption

    Nigeria need to downsize it government running cost not state and local government creations based on parochial narrow sentiment

  • Mr Ebenezer Obey - I like this song because his music contains so much folklore, history, culture and heritage. I remember growing up in London in the 1970's my parents use to play a lot of his music. I have loved his music since then.

  • Love this song. Though i am not Yoruba, and do not get what he says clearly, this song makes me remember the city of Ibadan, where i schooled for 4 years. Music is a universal language.
